Considering that your 23rd St club doesn't have hot water for at least a week, I called to check if your steam room is working. But the guy who answered the phone couldn't be bothered to find someone to check to see if the ladies' steam room is working.

I really wanted to like this gym till i came in last friday to work out with a friend (which is along time member as well ) i usually train alone and never need any help . We go in togther to the gym but we dont workout togther just talking or working out at the same spot .While i was doing leg extension and my friend was on the side doing his own workout he got stopped by Wayne Richard (the headquarter and one of the managers ) that accused us for training togther and making profit (basically he claimed that my friend is a PT and training me )he wasnt even willing to listen to what i have to say and wave me with his hand , and with no reason or prove basically he suggested that we need to leave . I got approached in the other hand by another rude manger claiming that everyone complaining about me..which offcourse was a lie since im already in shape and member of this gym for years and only been in this gym for few times . This comment was insulting and not in place at all . We were being forced to leave the gym basically by the unprofessional Gym managers team just because we are in shape .My husband was trying to call in and offcourse we could not reach him or anyone else to solve the matter and there is no one above him to solve any issue .Alegal action is in place now .PLEASE AVOID THIS GYM AT ANY COST.

After being accosted by the GM, Jennifer, over a misunderstanding and lack of communication (on her and her staff's behalf). And then being threatened that she would have "cancelled my membership but was "talked down" by other staff members," I promptly cancelled my membership.NYSC...love you guys. I've been a member for years but this was beyond a level of unprofessionalism and passive aggressiveness I've ever experienced.

Just an absolutely terrible gym. The GM, Dzhennifer Atayan, is rude and incompetent. Other locations of NYSC said they hear awful things about her and the E 41st location all of the time. I would encourage everyone to stay as far away from this gym and Dzhennifer. She is one of the worst human beings I’ve ever made the effort of doing business with.

Another gym where the elder male trainer needs his ego desperately fed. He drops a 45lb plate between me & another member, working out about 6ft apart. So he chooses the space between us, with an entire EMPTY green turf, inches to the left, to work out. It was funny watching him try to beat the guy beside me for a second. Until his workout turned aggressive. I got up and left.I had been cooling down in the group fitness room post workout, since I joined…. About 5 days before. Guess who was there waiting for me blasting music? The same day he needed to workout a foot & 1/2 away from me, with an empty gym at his disposal. He hosts a class there…..2hrs later. I left again. The next day I was “ran” into, walking as fast as possible, to dodge the planned good morning. Once I saw it coming From my peripheral vision. I will not be forced into a “friendly” interaction. I am not prey to be watched & caught. You know this guy ladies. He says hello to every female as he walks in. Not a single man. He’s not there to run his business. He’s there to feed his ego in his old age. I joined to workout.I quit a few days later.I’m sure a lot of women enjoy this attention….I was being EXTREMELY clear that I’m not one of them.

Worst gym experience ever!! When I went to register, a sales person informed me that I could join for a week (remainder days of the month) and that I could cancel anytime after that if I wish to. I called countless times to cancel, had several employees take my contact details and was never contacted. The gym kept attempting to charge my bank account, disregarding any communication. Finally, when I tried to deactivate my account, a gym employee bluntly told me that I cannot do it unless I pay my past due (I’d like to clarify again that I asked for cancellation & did not go to the gym- so they want me to pay for a service I haven’t even used). Also, the employee I spoke to on the phone confirmed that he cannot help me and that I can go to another gym. I wonder where the gym management is amidst all this chaos!

I just started going back to the gym after the covid shutdown. I have only one issue with the staff, they don't seem to be friendly enough. When you come in and get scanned they barely raise their heads to greet you. Also, as far as the towels, they do have a cabinet that you scan with your phone and it opens and you can get a towel. It is directly opposite the desk when you come in.

This gym is disgusting. There is weights just thrown around the place, , you can barely find a set. The "training area" is FILTHY. people work out on the "turf" without even putting a mat down, and NO ONE wipes down any equipment. I have seen boogers and snot in the turf, it is vile. The employees literally don't do anything. I've seen several just walking around not cleaning or putting weights away. The management won't even get back to you unless you spam call them and even then, they only respond via email. I'm trying to get a hold of Marvin or Jonathan to cancel my membership and they won't even respond.
