This gym offers great dance classes. Some of the gym staff members are also a delight to see. However, regarding sanitation, this gym has a lot to do to keep up with good standing standards.I'm not sure about what the local health department states regarding this places sanitation, but it's not ideal in my terms. It's 8am in the morning, and already there is filth lying in the women's restrooms. There is a sweep that next to the filth in front of the showers. There is a blob of hair the size of a hand. As it is dry, it can mean that it's been laying there for a long period of time. Also, pee on the toilet.Do they not want us to use the restrooms? Do they not want us to return? Is this a sanitation hazard?I once brought the hair issue to the General Manager that there is hair laying all over the place, and she proceeded to say that's how things are. I then told her that it could lead to plumbing issues. Many folks here talk to the member regarding the filth, but it is never fixed. As plumbing issues can be a big problem and also, very costly $$$$.I understand this is a two-way process, and the customers ourselves should be responsible for discarding waste in the respectable bins. As I occasionally see lost lashes, used bloody red tampons, rubber bands, and once a bra pad. Please have self responsibility and organizational skills as these two components are proven to help with mental health sanity and make you make money. Also, to wear sandals in the spa area. The sweat and dirt on your sneakers from the outside can grow and multiple in the wet and sweaty spa area. Also, please shower before entering pools as you're bringing dirt from the outside to a pool where people are accidentally drinking the water. If you dont want to be constantly sick and I'll please be clean and sanitary. You will realize that life is so much better, not coughing until your throat hurts.

UPDATE: The members of this gym are of extremely low vibrations. I get constantly stared at all places in the pool area. Women especially constantly stare or interfere with my energy. Or express hate because of my good looks. Shameless and no integrity. If only something could be done.I am giving 2 stars only because of convenience for where I am staying at the moment and for the upstairs area. The gym is a 24 hour fitness facility. You expect the same at most places. And as it goes, this one is also pretty dirty most of the time. I only swim these days due to an injury and wasnt very pleased with the cleanliness of the pool area. The pool area and the mens locker room are fairly dirty most of the time to the point that when I enter I feel like leaving. The weights room and basketball area upstairs is pretty sweet.Upon checking with the staff, I was informed they clean the sauna, steam room and pool once a week on Fridays. I dont like the sound of that. This is a crowded gym and should be cleaned everyday or every other day at the least. I pay 57$ for all country access and would like it to be better than this, As I grow older, I realize that 57$ a month is quite a bit.The members are always staring at me or hating me or just interfering with my energy while in the pool area. Which is not a fault of this gym but of the commercial location and the kind of people.I wish I can become rich enough to afford my own recreation area. Until then I have to tolerate these gyms and its members.

They have a better and well-maintained facility than the one in Whipple Rd. Also their pool water is MUCH MUCH cleaner and clearer.

I go to this 24 hour fitness location daily M-F.Last week… sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday I got stuff stolen from one of the public lockers that the gym provides. I lost 2 pairs of shoes and 1 stainless water bottle. One of the shoes was a new pair of Nike Dunks.I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me but she never did !How disappointing !

This specific review is for Ray. I've been going to this location and have witnessed many receptionists change , but Ray is different. He is friendly, greets with smile wishes a great workout. Small things matter! I've seen this to be a consistent behavior! Please give him a promotion!

I used to go to the 24-hour Fitness near the Fremont BART station before it closed a couple months ago. Now I (along with many others) go to this new location.I like that this new location has equipment that actually works, but there isn't nearly enough of it for the amount of people that are usually here. Even during off-peak hours (e.g. Saturday at 9 pm), I still have to wait around to use the bench press, squat rack, etc. There also isn't much space in between the machines so it's hard to get from one area in the weight room to another without nearly bumping into someone else. The overall layout of the weight room is weird and cramped and there seems to be very few 5 to 25-pound plates for the bench presses. This new location is bad enough to where I actually kind of miss the old location near the Fremont BART station.
