It's a good gym but don't try to upgrade or downgrade your membership. The amount of hidden fees is absolutely ridiculous! For example, you have to pay $50 to "lock in" your basic membership fee. And if you upgrade there's a whole host of new fees. Just do your research and pick the membership you want from the beginning and don't change that plan. Personally, if just go somewhere else

I was regretting the choice I made to switch from eos to VASA... The front desk worker Sam in operations has made me think otherwise. He knows me and others by name, he is very cordial to myself and other members, he great with the senior's and is always constant. Sam makes me wan5 to be a nicer engaging person. His report with others definitely has him ahead from his peers around his age. The Clinton gym is by far the best VASA to workout in. I'd say a close second would be Bountiful. Keep up the good work Clinton VASA.

This gym has plenty of equipment and everyone helps keep it clean. The staff here is super helpful and very friendly. I love the sauna, tanning booths and the massage chairs, too. This is the best gym I've ever been to.

This place is a scam. I canceled my membership early because I ended up not going that much and decided to just pay the early cancelation fee to save money. 5 months later I am now getting notice that I breached a contract and am getting mail from debt collectors saying I owe Vasa money. Be careful and diligent when signing up and make sure you keep records if you want to cancel your membership in case you need to dispute something.Oh and even when I was still going I would see extra fees added on for things like "price lock guarantees" so even the advertised price was misleading.

The gym equipment is squished in together and hard to access. The “tanning” offered is terrible. The staff told me that “the bulbs haven’t been changed in a year and there are some out”, then the beds didn’t work properly. I wanted to cancel my membership after one trip because of the atmosphere.

I like Vasa. But we wanted to cancel our son from the plan since he was going back to school. They said it was a $25 fee because he hadn't been there 6 months. So, let me get this straight, I have ro pay you if I want to stop paying you? What a scam. Not only that, but I wasn't allowed to cancel at the gym, I had to go through a special site or make calls. Vasa should he better than this as a mainstream gym. Not Nicole and dime their customers with xheap tactics. A disappointing experience.

It’s a nice gym with cool employees. The only reason I gave 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars is that there are tons of extra charges when you sign up. On top of that you have to upgrade your membership on top of paying an additional $15/month for guest privileges. That used to be a part of the upgrade. Either way it’s a great place to go especially if you find a time that’s not super busy.

Been going here for a year now. More so in the last six month. They have several silver sneaker classes which are great. Love the hydro-massage bed. Tem minutes massage is my reward for doing the class.Friendly people and it always feels clean.

I'm generally not one to write a review, but I couldn't refrain any longer. Since I have been going to this gym, I have witnesses some of the worst upkeep and conditions out of any gym I've been to in 20 years. Just yesterday when I went, two out the three urinals in the men's bathroom were broke. Then I went to refill my water by the spin room the water fountain was broke. Finally, when I went to use the stair climber, two of the machines were inoperable. As I looked around there were numerous treadmills and the airbike all had temporarily broke signs on them. I get these machines have significant wear and tear on them from getting used a lot, but these signs will sit on them for quite some time. I also remember the days when I went to gold's in Roy and I also recently went to the new EOS, there was always someone cleaning the floors and equipment. I can't tell you the last time I've seen that at vasa, and the over cleanliness of the gym reflects that. It would be great to see the multiple staff members behind the counter make better use of their time. I get the easy solution to this is just go back to EOS if I have an issue, but I really do like the convenience of vasa, and some of the things it has to offer.

The floor plan at the Layton location is cozier than other gyms. I don't feel on display, I like how there's kinda like separate rooms for the equipment. Really wish they'd keep the facility in better repair tho, the hydro massage has been down forever.
