Nice gymSome good options for different workouts- like box jumps, wheel flips etc.Lap swim options that are usual open.Basketball court which not all the Genesis have.

Love the actual gym, do NOT enjoy the staff. Called multiple times wanting to resolve an issue and got told I would get a call back from someone. Never did. I personally called again to see what the hold up was, and ended up getting hung up on. They did NOT resolve the issue, and doesn’t look like they plan on it.

I’ve enjoyed every aspect of this club. Tried several other clubs and this one stands out. Organized and well ran. Had a chance to speak with an employee there named Jake and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and had a good understand of my goals and how to help me accomplish them. Absolutely will recommend this club to friends and family.

My favorite club in Omaha! I’ve been a Genesis member for over 5 years and the staff and management at this location hold a top standard. Always a welcome and have a good workout to knowing if you need assistance to using a particular machine! If you haven’t checked this place out highly recommend!

So i don't usually write bad reviews for fitness clubs as most have excellent customer service and hospitality, but this one is definitely an exception at the very least. On 9/13/2022 I visited the Cass St Location of Genesis health clubs and I've been here once before on a free trial pass, due to life events, I couldn't return to continue my trial, which was fine. One month later, I came back to ask if i could continue the second day of my trial, in which this very condescending rude gentlemen by the name of "Christian" responded " If you're not from Omaha you cant use the free trial and you HAVE to pay 15$ or else you cant use the gym....which i was totally alright with as I understand the trial only goes for that period of time in which it started....I asked if there was any possibility that i could continue that trial in a really nice manner but then he started to show massive amounts of attitude to me and my friends who were trying to train that day by saying " I'm in charge here and what i say goes...and you're not even from Omaha so i wont grant you the trial pass", his female co-worker ( curly hair) also working with him that day began to say " This is him being nice", anyway....i continued and paid the 15$ as he wished and proceeded to train but, ultimately to me, I'm just imagining if this is his nice attitude then you can only picture what he would be like if he was not having a good day.I personally do not recommend this location ( or as a matter of fact, this health club) until they dismiss this individual as he will continue to blow away paying customers like myself who was in fact initially very interested in purchasing a plan there. His attitude is unacceptable and lowers the status for what this great gym has to offer. Hope none of you have to ever endure what I went through with this so called specific Employee.

Never have towels at 430AM, they claim someone stole them all and are too cheap to purchase more towels.Locker room is also in disrepair.The place has some serious potential but management doesn't seem to be interested in taking the necessary steps to get it there.

Most of the staff here are friendly, and they have plenty of equipment. For the most part the gym is clean, but they NEVER have towels. There is always an excuse - from customers stealing them so they have "less that 30 in the gym" to "we ran out of detergent" ( today ). The Westroads gym is so much nicer, do yourself a favor and take an extra five minute drive.

TL;DR - Loads of space to get a good workout in.I'm unsure if it's actually the biggest Genesis in town or just feels like it because of being multiple stories. Either way, even when this place was busy I always found a spot to get my workout in. I'd also add that it has a few machines that I haven't seen in other locations—I believe it was a super squat machine and more shoulder work options.I don't work out here nearly as much as I used to, but I'd recommend it if you live in the area.

Steam room, sauna, pool, basketball court, and workout equipment. They have the options. I just wish the actually workout equipment section was bigger as it gets filled pretty quick. Really cool front staff here also. Gym wise I like how they have free weights and actual bars as opposed to the Smith machines at most modern gyms.

Attended a water fitness class. The instructor was excellent. The pool facilities, locker room, whirlpool, steam room and sauna were all clean and well maintained. The pool exercise equipment (pool noodles and water dumbells) were old, worn, and in need of replacement. One more small thing, the clock displayed incorrect time. Overall, an enjoyable experience; I will return.
