Super impressed with this location! The locker rooms are clean and large, which is a plus. They have a wide variety of group fitness classes at all times of day so it works with anyone’s schedule. I really enjoyed going to Zumba & Andrew’s Saturday morning Bootcamp — very supportive and encouraging for someone just started out on their journey! I loved being able to meet with Marlee, the group fitness manager, to talk about a fitness plan and how to help balance work & self care. Everyone has been so helpful!

Early 2020, I decided I wanted to try something different with my workout routine. I’d been a member of Genesis Health Club for awhile and like so many I felt what I was doing was just ok. I put in the time, did what I thought was necessary. I saw some results for me efforts, but I wanted more. A friend of mine suggested I try working with his personal trainer Andrew Lorenz. I had a few sessions with him and I was hooked. It’s been 10 months since then and Andrew has completely changed how I approach my workout sessions, how I structure my meals and helped move me mentally into a place of seeing what is truly possible. His dedication and drive to provide the best advice, training and whole body approach to each client is what sets him apart. He keeps the entire training session from start to finish positive, up beat and challenging. He pushes you to your limits and then works with you to set new ones. I recommend Andrew to anyone and everyone, no matter where they are in their fitness journey. Thank you Andrew for all that you do.

We’ve been members here for many years now and had no issues. These past 6 months, all of a sudden issues started popping up. We had to go in 5 times to get our account “fixed”, then paperwork was mysteriously lost after several visits. The sales people were all blaming other coworkers for losing things and changing our account. They even told us to our faces we’d been overpaying for our kids and account for 3 years. We had all our kids included in the plan as part of the benefit of signing up since the very beginning, but now they’re charging us $60 more per month to add them. The amount of time wasted on this just for a gym has been insane. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We’re finally getting out since literally nothing has been fixed and now we’re getting charged way more. Terrible experience and we’ll never go back.

I love the Genesis community and classes! The instructors are great and I’m constantly challenged in classes. The ability to utilize any of the Omaha locations is super convenient. I would definitely recommend this gym to my family and friends!

Very impressed with this gym and it’s trainers! I’m currently training for an Ironman race and I like how I can train for all portions (run, bike & swim) at the same location. The morning cycle classes with Marlee are exactly what I need for my training because she keeps your heart rate up the whole time but keeps it fun! Morning bootcamp with Andrew is a great way to build strength and stamina, too!

Very corporate culture and a terrible experience start to end. Originally when I signed up I was told “numbers on here don’t matter” and come to find out I signed up for $15/mo more than I was promised. Many pieces of cardio equipment were broken like bikes that don’t pedal straight and ellipticals that don’t roll right. I chose this gym over others because of the sauna but quickly realized the sauna was horribly grimy and never was cleaned. Cancelling the membership was the cherry on top for terrible customer service.

I would like to publicly acknowledge to professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and work ethic of my trainer, Mike Good. Being 75, I have had multiple health issues which make my physical training a challenge. Mike has tailored a program for me that meets my needs exactly. He prepares a written agenda for my workout in advance of every session. That being said, there are times when I have "issues" and cannot follow the plan. He is quick to adapt a new plan on the fly to address my need that day. His knowledge of muscular anatomy is evident. I have had close to 100 sessions with Mike and view him as a personal friend. In my opinion, if you want one of the best, ask for Mike Good.

I had anxiety joining any gym. The equipment felt intimidating. I had no idea how to start, where to start and how much weights I should be using. So, I signed up for personal training sessions with Andrew. He is patient, encouraging, and walked me through the exercise machines documenting the number of reps, weights, etc. He also developed a custom plan just for me. After 12 sessions with Andrew, I felt confident going into the gym and knowing exactly what I need to work on to reach my goal.

It’s a good gym but their equipment especially the stairs master are always broken. I got on one of the stairs and it went full speed on me and the stop/pause buttons wouldn’t work, I fell off and hurt my arm. There were no signs that the machine was broken. Most of the equipment looks so beat up that I always worry if it’s working or not.
