Aksarben Genisis just picked up a new Leg curl machine, hip thrust machine, and brand new cardio machines. Took my leg day to the next level. Plenty of space and great service. Favorite gym in Omaha by far!

07/16/2023The African American Guy at the reception was mean and barely answer questions. He needs to have a better attitude towards others and pay more attention to customer rather than to his phone.

If you're looking at joining because of the location, go elsewhere. I have been a member since it was Golds Gym. Total lack of maintenance here. Finding a fully functional piece of cardio equipment is like finding a unicorn. The broken equipment have been tagged for months. The machines are old, so even when repaired they break again almost immediately. The mens locker room is in the same poor condition. Only 2 of the 4 showers work, 2 of the lavatories are broken and 1 of the urinals. The other locations have newer equipment and are maintained, but not this location. I joined this gym because of location. If I need to go somewhere inconvenient , I'll go to Planet Fitness which is only $10/mo versus nearly $50. If it wasn't for the friends I've met there and work out the same time as me, I'd left long ago.

6/20/23It appears they replaced all of the treadmill’s all of the stairstepper‘s both styles of exercise bikes, and other cardio equipment. Bumping them up to four stars.6/16/23Revising up to three stars. I was in the club yesterday, and they appear to be replacing the treadmills.Original postWould not recommend. Eight out of 10 treadmills are out of order and have been out of order for months. An entire group of ellipticals have been out of order or in some state of disrepair for months. Pointing this out to the front desk has gets the response “Genesis only has to maintenance man for the entire city and they mostly work out west.” Management is unresponsive. Complaining to corporate has not yielded correction of the deficiencies. Either local management doesn’t care about their gym or Genesis corporate doesn’t. Either way I would not recommend this gym.To validate Mollys review from two months ago, I’ve attached a picture of a stairmaster that is still out of order.

Went at 830 Sunday morning but did were still locked 30 minutes after the gym is scheduled to open

2 Stairmasters out of 4 have been broken for YEARS. Ridiculous, I always have to wait or don’t even get to use one at all.

Great staff, and great environment. Especially Jazmen who will get you familiarized with the gym, and help you with all your gym needs. Well as answering any questions or concerns you may have she is very helpful.

I am out of town and needed a nice gym with good equipment to get a nice workout in since my hotel gym has nothing. Jube was awesome and got me a 4 day pass for a good deal so I can get in here! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a gym!!

Clean gym with a lot of different machines for different muscle groups and plentiful of cardio machines too. Just wish there was more room in the free weights area and more squat racks.

Very helpful staff, Michael and Alexis helped me through any issues I had with my membership. Would defiantly recommend if looking for a gym membership
