Friendly staff, swimming pool was clean, steam room worked well, members aren't using the F word while socializing as they do at the 24 H.F. in Lancaster, CA, very clean gym!✌😉👍 …

I signed up for a free 3-day pass to try the gym out because I am looking to switch gyms or add on another membership somewhere. I got there and told the girl I had a code for the free pass and she asked for my ID. When she looked at it she then asked if I was going to be signing up for a membership today and I told her no (I did not want to be sat down and sold a membership at that moment), that I was currently with LA Fitness and wanted to get a work out in. She also asked if I had been to a 24 Hour Fitness before. I said, yes many years ago (I walked in to a much smaller facility for a tour and then walked right back out, never used the gym). She told me she could not allow me to use the free pass I was already signed up for because I was not signing up for membership, had been to a 24 Hour before, and I was not a resident of Ontario (I live in Rancho Cucamonga which is 10-15 minutes away). She then said I could pay $25 for a single day pass. The girl was very polite and I have no problem with my interaction with her, my problem is with the company policy. How do they expect people to switch from their current gyms to a new membership at 24 Hour if people are not allowed to try the gym out unless they are signing up? I have always heard bad things about this company and now I understand why.

Horrible customer service. Went to redeem a 3day pass to see if it's worth switching back to(it's been a few yrs since being a member).this is from the website when signing up for the pass. *User must not have been a guest or member of 24 Hour Fitness within the last 6 months. So I thought I should be good to go. Nope. Was approached by I'm assuming a manager and let him know what I was doing. He asked if I've ever been a member before and I told him it's been awhile. So he told me no I couldn't use it. If I ever been a member can't redeem it. No solution was offered not to purchase a daily pass or anything. Thanks for the welcoming experience.

Very poorly managed! What are the things that customers care about?1. Professional customer service.2. Cleanliness. This gym fails on both counts, especially on point no. 2. You often have 4-5 "youngsters" congregated at the front desk, while the bathrooms are in disarray (no toilet cover seats, toilet paper, filth etc...) and the main floor is depleted of paper towels, hand sanitizers, alcohol sprays etc.I've enjoyed coming to this gym since it opened, because of its convenient location, it's spaciousness, but it's rapidly gone downhill, especially, post-covid. It's like whoever runs it just doesn't care anymore! I remember them issuing free towels (obviously that's not practical anymore), the front desk was on top of their game, and equipment was well maintained. Now you have simple things like lockers with missing doors, filthy bathrooms (you should see the layers upon layers of dust...), like I said, it just seems like the leadership team just doesn't care anymore!Back to my two points mentioned earlier; If you expected the front desk to fulfill multiple roles (customer service & cleaning) in order to "save money" on hiring professional cleaners, that strategy has failed!!!Hire separate cleaners who can focus on cleanliness and stocking all day (summit does this well & it's a smaller gym), while the front desk can focus on providing great customer service. Please!

Due to the pandemic this 24 Hour Fitness is operating outside, using the parking lot. There’s a large canopy with a good amount of equipment, elliptical, machines and dumbbells.

Great gym but terrible hours. It's called 24 hour fitness..... nothing 24 hour about the schedule which sucks entirely because that's the only reason I have a 24 hour membership. For the time accessibility

Ive been looking for a new gym and could decide between 24 hr fitness and planet fitness. I got a free pass and I live in Riverside. I came to this location because it’s right near my work. When I walked in Richard very rudely demanded I needed my ID he interrogated me about my address which shows on my liscense I live in Riverside and then rudely stated that it’s “locals only” and turned around started talking to his co worker. It made me feel so small and I literally left in tears because I was so shocked at how rude he was. I called and asked for a manager and I’m pretty sure he answered the phone and told me that there was no manager and no number to call corporate. I highly doubt that. But I will for sure never consider 24 hr fitness ever again.
