I have been going to Vasa for almost a year now. I enjoy the clean facility with plenty of equipment, however, I have not been very pleased with my personal training experience. When I signed up they offered a free trial session with a trainer so I took that offer. I liked how much she pushed me and I wanted to get back in shape so I decided to sign up for six months of training (once/week). I thought they were more affordable than they actually were because of how it was explained to me, so that was my first complaint. I also was unaware that the sessions expire if you don’t use them within a set amount of time, which I would have liked to know as my schedule is hard to work around. I don’t have any complaints about the trainer herself or about the sessions. I feel like they were useful and really pushed me and helped familiarize me with different workouts and equipment. However, with all the shutdowns lately it has been so hard to setup sessions again. The only way I’ve known to set up the sessions was to text the trainer and it took us a month of texting to set up a session and then it fell through. Now I have to wait again for a session and hope my already paid for sessions don’t expire. For the amount I have paid for these sessions it really shouldn’t be this difficult to set them up. The gym itself is fine, it’s the training that I have been really frustrated with. I have already lost so much money to them.

Best Vasa I’ve ever been to!! Super clean all the time! Mens locker room is clean and smells fresh! If you are looking for a home gym this is it.I actually just got off the phone with the general manager with a request (which in my opinion was kind of small and insignificant but important to me personally) he was super nice, willing to listen, and even tho it was small he said it would get resolved. This is the kind of customer service we all want trust me.

Honestly I want to give a 5 star review. Staff are great. It’s super clean. It has all the facilities. However, I give it a 1 star because they need another gym in the area. Since the one on 800 has closed there are too many members at this one on 1600. My friend and I have been going past 10 pm just to try and avoid so many people. If you go any time after 4-10pm, good luck! You can’t find parking, you have to wait to use most machines. And then when you do have a machine, someone is either waiting for you or they move your stuff and now you’re waiting again. Oh and you probably parked in a spot not sanctioned for vasa gym members (according to the owners of Pizza Pie Cafe, Del Taco, and all the people getting fat over there.) Again, good luck getting in a decent workout when you’re waiting to use every machine. If you don’t have a friend with you, you’re better off just using free weights the whole time. The point I’m trying to make is that it’s over crowded and with all the hype for this gym, it’s a shame the one on 800 closed. Yeah, the one on 800 wasn’t as nice, but it was a lot better knowing you were going to get a good workout in and not have to compete for machines with every freaking bro in the valley. That’s what it feels like.I’ve been to many gyms in many states and I’ve never seen a more crowded gym. The one on university might be slightly less crowded, but holy cow! Seriously!?!?I don’t know the business model, but I can only imagine over crowding is great for $$$. Only to the point where people aren’t pausing or canceling memberships. But is there not enough people going to this one to justify opening another one? It’s almost at the point where I’m considering going to a worse gym just so I have more confidence in getting a better workout as opposed to waiting for everyone and their friend on machines.Again, it’s a great gym. But that’s why I can’t stand it! Too many people are there!

Brady and his team are amazing. This gym is the most organized I’ve ever been too. They were so lenient with me and my girlfriend who temporarily was visiting in allowing her to workout with me. They are extremely professional and I recommend this gym for everyone!

I've gone to a few different Vasas and this one is by far my favorite. The machines here are new and in good quality. The staff members working the front are always so kind and welcoming. Also, this Vasa is always busy, but even with the amount of people in and out of the gym, the wait time for the machines is very small due to the amount they have available. 10/10 would recommend!

Great new facility, and very clean so far. Hopefully the masks are gone when the state mask mandate is lifted... Though right now you just have to signal compliance for a minute at the entrance.I go for yoga mostly, and there's often a good mix of people participating, and so far I like the instructors at this location.

I'm going to give this gym 5 stars because they are a great gym. They do however need to stay on top of keeping the bathrooms stocked properly and timely! Need I say more? I'm being very generous giving 5 stars because overall they are great but get those bathroom stalls stocked and keep them stocked. There is zero reason why the stalls should ever run out of toilet paper.

Of the multiple locations I go to, this is one of the better ones. It’s bigger than usual, the only downside if there is not a lot of machines to use.

About all that I can say that's good about this place is that they've got a good selection of equipment that is usually in good repair. The staff, however, are USELESS. Friendly, but useless. Every time I've had a problem they've smiled, nodded, listened, but didn't do anything about it. I alert them to another patron who is being rude, get a smile and a nod, they do nothing. About two years ago I asked for my membership to be downgraded a level, get told that's no problem - I might get charged one more month, which was no problem. But they didn't change it at all - good thing I checked! Good customer service is not just about being nice to the patrons but actually proactively being helpful. The worst thing they did, though, I don't feel is appropriate to explain in a review because it gets kind of personal, but when I explained a major, major problem that had been going on I was literally told 'I'm sorry that happened'. Not 'I'll see what I can do', not 'let me get you in touch with someone higher up who might be able to do something', or anything actually HELPFUL. I didn't want empathy, I wanted actual help.If this wasn't the only gym within walking distance I'd go anywhere else.
