VASA Fitness

Was visiting out of town and was given a guest pass. It was no hassle to use. This gym was up to date with very modern equipment. Plenty of machines for cardio and weights. No wait however it was a Sunday morning. It was a fantastic facility. Wish I had this gym near me.

After me and my wife first graduated from college we needed to find a new gym. We heard that Vasa's facilities are usually pretty clean and that the staff are very kind. When we signed up for the Fitness plan it was during a promotion, so instead of paying 22$ a month it would be 17$. My wife received the deal but I was told that I was given a different contract and have been overcharged for the past 8 months. This is one of the most underhanded business practices I have ever experienced. I would not recommend VASA Fitness because of their unethical business practices. I have called many times to have this settled but every time they apologize for the inconvenience and imply that this is my fault for not paying attention. I have called management for the location and was told that this was not a family plan promotion it was an individual one. This business is very underhanded and dishonest.

I actually really really really like this location. the front desk folks are so kind and friendly. They keep this location clean and top notch. I would have given 5 billion stars except I am disappointed in your equipment repair. There is a gentleman that comes on crutches and has very limited mobility. I happen to be personal friends with him and have gotten to know him from going to Vasa he comes just about every day, and years ago he severed his spinal cord and was at one point told he could never walk again. As you can imagine, he is a very strong willed person and he walks but uses crutches/leg braces. Unfortunately there are very few things he can do for exercise and your hand crank cycle is the one machine he can use. It has been out of order before but they have usually had it fixed quickly. This time it's been over a month and I haven't seen him it makes me very sad. If I couldn't get my exercise in it would really mess with my psyche. I feel like VASA should know this because they are in this business of being happy and healthy all that other good stuff. I sure hope it gets fixed soon. don't get me wrong you have great stuff at the 1600 location and I love the people there however they don't fix the machines

Nice gym, pretty clean most times. Trainers are very nice and helpful. The reason why I am giving them a 3 star review is because their billing services are absolutely HORRIBLE. Super confusing, they want to charge you for everything, not helpful at all. I wanted to put my account on freeze because I will be out of state for 90 days and emailed then back and forth and I agreed to pay the $10 freezing fee for 90 days. Next month comes and they charge me again the full amount. They admitted that it was a confusion on their side and told me that if I wanted to freeze my membership now, that I would have to pay them the fee again and that the price that had already been withdrawn from my account would stay as a “credit”. Not helpful at all, ended up just canceling my membership. Very sad because I love my trainings but their billing services are a pain. Save yourself the trouble and give your business to a different gym.

When walking in, I was greeted by several very nice employees. They took the time to give a full tour of the facility and explained clearly and professionally the benefits of being a VASA member. They have a few different memberships that give you access to more and more areas of the gym. They were clear about the benefits of the more expensive ones, but they weren’t pushy when I opted for the cheapest membership.In the gym, I’ve talked to a lot of nice people who helped encourage me. There’s a good culture here. Getting a VASA membership was definitely worth it.

Absolutely terrible. First of all they let big trucks and cars park on the south wall which says no parking and then they box the cars in who actually park in the stalls. Then you go inside and the machines are literally on top of each other. Super crammed up and congested. Then it never seems to amaze me that they always have machines broken and damaged equipment. The sauna and steam room are out of order just about every other day. The vibe, equipment and atmosphere are absolutely terrible. Definitely would not recommend. Cheap monthly price reflects the quality of the gym

I love it! I am trying out personal training and Paige seems super nice and is very encouraging. The facility is spotless and there are cleaning supplies convenient to every location. I like the variety of treadmills and equipment. One of my favorite things is the water massage chairs; it’s a sweet reward to look forward to when sweating and straining. I also enjoy the app and badges. I get motivated by trackers like that and the app makes signing in fast.

I recently started going here. The people at the front desk are always excited and wish me a happy workout. There's always a machine you can use and the sauna is great post workout. Your account makes it easy to buy things from the shop all you have to do is scan your ID. Watching a movie while working out is pretty great as well! Honestly wish I worked here it's such a nice environment.

Staff is friendly, gym is very clean, can’t beat the price, lots of machines and the layout is nice. Night staff is the absolute best though! Torrie, Joe, Cory & Curtis are the BEST!!!My advice is to go early or late, way less busy. I went during busy hours and didn’t have to wait too long for machines/equipment that I wanted to use.So easy to check in via the app, love the simplicity of everything.

Friendly Staff always welcomes you when you arrive and when you leave. The gym is spacious and affordable. Good vibes. Lots of equipment. It can be busy early in the week (Mon-Tue) and early in the year (Jan-Mar), but it cools off. Bathrooms are clean. I like this VASA location better than University Orem.
