24 Hour Fitness, located at 10011 Broadway St Suite 107, Pearland, TX, offers a range of facilities including a gym, sauna, pool, and locker services. The gym operates 24 hours during weekdays, but has limited hours on weekends, stirring disappointment among some members. Positive experiences stem from excellent customer service and well-maintained amenities, yet complaints about cleanliness and equipment management persist.

Despite its comprehensive service offerings, issues such as cleanliness, customer service, and the misleading name of '24 Hour Fitness' are problematic. The inconsistent opening hours and reported maintenance issues suggest that while this gym can cater to basic fitness needs, it falls short of premium expectations.

Pros:

  • Convenient location in Pearland.
  • Wide range of amenities including a pool and sauna.
  • Tara’s spin class is highly recommended.
  • Friendly staff, particularly Josh and Danielle.
  • Short wait times for machines.
  • Clean environment according to some reviews.
  • Active maintenance of pool temperature.
  • Positive atmosphere reported by some members.
  • Accessible and available free lockers.

  • Inconsistent opening hours contrary to the '24-hour' claim.
  • Frequent complaints about cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Customer service issues reported by multiple users.

First gym i have ever signed up for. Very friendly staff! I am non binary so i often cross dress to workout and everyone in this gym is super friendly and respectful. They clean their equipment and replace any that are broken. Amazing place to start out! :)

I'm a bit disappointed with this gym and now I'm unsure of if I'll try to check it out. I used to be a member from 2011-2018, but I relocated out of state for work. The state I moved to (Michigan) didn't have any locations so I cancelled my membership and moved on to a new gym. I was just able to relocate back to town thanks to working remotely and looking to join a gym. My first thought was, let me check out my old gym. I have concerns surrounding COVID safety protocols (I've opted to workout at home since March 2020) and when I left this location wasn't in the best shape. Machines were always out of order and it wasn't always clean. I read through the google reviews earlier this week and it seems like things may have improved. So I signed up for a 3-day guest pass online so I can check it out and see how I feel, as I'm ready to get back to a real gym. Well I was just called to see if I had any questions and when I would activate my guest pass. I expressed all of the above to the individual that I spoke with and was told I could only get a 1-day pass since I was a previous member. I explained that it's been over 3 years and COVID is a thing, so I want to use the 3-day pass to come in at different times on different days to check it all out. I was told no, that 3-day passes are only for people who have never been members. All previous members can only get a 1-day pass. Seems pretty silly considering I'm in the higher percentage of more than likely joining again. Has left a bad taste in my mouth and now I'm debating on not going altogether.

I've worked out at this location 4-5 times a week for almost 12 years now. The service is impeccable and the staff are extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. I'm very particular when it comes to cleanliness and this location never misses the mark, so much so that I felt very comfortable working out- even during COVID. The staff are continuously cleaning and sanitizing which is great. I also love the contactless check-in which adds to the level of comfort I have when visiting the club. Over the last year or so I have noticed a lot of positive changes around the club which I fully attribute to the manager (Rob) and the new staff that he recruited. Rob is amazing and hands on and I can tell that he truly cares about the club, his employees, and the gym members. Since Rob became the manager I have never seen a machine that is out of commission for more than a couple days which is very rare compared to many other clubs that I have visited. There are far too many other positive changes to list but I definitely recommend this club!

The plus to this super sport location was the towel service. They took it away and it makes me want to go to s different company. It's like a night club and hard to work out without feeling like your being stated at. No regular yoga class here anymore. The place is also dirty and needs a bathroom remodel.

This gym is just a sport level but they calling it as Super Sport to get some extra money from you. Compared to Sport level gym in Sugarland this gym is probably 60-70% of of its size. Sugarland location has so much space and has 2 floors. And this is just one floor and too compact. Just coz they added one Basketball court, they calling it as Super Sport..nothing else. I have been to both Super Sport and Sport level gym in Glendale, CA and this location is not at all Super Sport and they are just fooling people. Either you upgrade the facilities on par with other super sport locations or just call it as Sports level gym. and charge only for that.

So happy to see the club open back, and see many old faces again. The club is not crowded after closing for coronavirus but I'd like to see them extend hours in a few days/weeks. Some of like to work out late in the night when the place is almost empty.

I feel safe coming here to workout because of how much they're doing to keep us safe. They sanitize the whole gym and equipment multiple times a day starting at 5 am to 9 pm. That's above and beyond. No other gym is doing this in my area. 24 is the standard.

There were at least 30 people at the gym. Only three wore masks. Folks were not social distancing at all. The front desk employee as well as two trainers didn't have masks on. This was disappointing, especially with the number of COVID cases going up. I have gotten the flu twice from this location in the past, so I'm extra vigilant with cleaning. I was there on Saturday and there were less people but everyone was being safe. I guess I'm going to have to stay home until this pandemic is over.

They discriminate people by not letting them use a foreigner ID. To try the gym 💪 with a 3 day pass. What a disappointment. Absolutely worst 24 hr I have ever been to! Nastiest gym ever! …

Don’t believe anything come out of their mouth about promotions or matching competitors prices. Or don’t let the staff email you the contract I never receive or don’t believe the con game 24 hour fitness staff and manager whatever they say. I hate I join I should’ve listened to the soft voice in my head LA fitness pearland.Phillip Harris
