I decided to enroll at this gym and location again after a not so great process to leave it back in 2020. Since joining (this time as a Black Card member) I have had opportunities to receive a free Amazon Halo, have been able to attend regularly with a guest and feel welcomed and respected every time I check in. I’ve also noticed that the staff regularly cleans all equipment and spaces, which I greatly appreciate. Tesia is one of the front desk attendants and as I became a regular attender, she started to not only greet me by name but also offer encouragement! I’m very thankful to have motivation and accountability for myself and within this space too.

Clean gym, helpful staff. Alex is amazing! I'm a long standing member of this gym and it is always well-kept and only improves everyday. Friendly, non-judgmental environment which provides for a great gym experience.

Great place and great staff. Number one person that helps me out or gives me tips on workouts is Alex. Treat me like family and will continue coming here. Always great gym and great to work out and awesome music that you can also request. I come as a guest but soon will be signing up. Realizing this is a great place.

The staff does get four stars for their ability to interact with folks I hope that management will continue to enhance their training because when people are new they don't always know how to respond but you're getting four stars anyway because the place is clean it is well managed. However one of the big downsides is this whole thing for November for senior sneakers and being able to get your ticket signed for signing in and nobody knowing about it and then it's supposed to be only being in Kendall is absolutely positively false advertising on the part of corporate. For them to do this to senior citizens is a real unprofessional method of advertising. Also of Interest should be for folks who have silver sneakers go in there find out about the free personal training Courtney is an absolutely amazing individual she is light years ahead when it comes to customer service and I think people should be willing to give that free service a try it will help establish a good check-in habits to be able to complete at least a major and minor exercise days I think she's completely competent as far as being able to assist people with what their physical needs are and she's got a really positive attitude where she's willing to help you break through certain blockages that you might have to exercise and that includes learning certain machines and understanding what the benefits are of using them without harming yourself but she won't push you too far there's a difference between being pushed and being challenged and I say go talk to Courtney. One recommendation would be when they are doing certain cleanings only block half of the entrance way because that's the way people can get in and out and I understand everybody is time constrained with what they can do there but I'd rather deal with a little dust and be able to get in and out easily then to have to climb over machines

Just wanted to say how much I adore Planet Fitness. The reason is that the employees are very friendly. When I was having a difficult day, Tesia—I believe her name is Tesia—helped me feel welcome here and she was really sweet. The best assistant manager there is. Every time I visit, she has a cheerful demeanor. Love you all the staff, however Tesia deserves a raise and some recognition.

Amazing sign up experience! The front desk staff Liza was so friendly and welcoming. She did an amazing job explaining the difference between the memberships and I got the black card. She is also always cleaning and maintaining the place to ensure sanitization, this has been one of the cleanliest gyms in all of SFL, highly recommend!

love this gym i drive an extra 15 mins just to come here rather than the one closer to home. not so much traffic so getting on a machine is easy, keeps the pump going & the staff are so welcoming and kind! i always leave here feeling better than when i arrive. not to brag but they got new machines last week doesn’t get better than this 🤗

Do not join this Planet Fitness! I was a member here for roughly three months. For some reason they don't open until seven on the weekends. Well, that's what is posted at least. On at least three weekends the person opening the gym didn't come until 7:30. Lines of people waiting outside. Multiple times. I canceled my membership and asked for the manager to call me about the cancelation fee since they didn't hold up their end by not opening on time. No one ever called me and I called multiple times. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. Crunch fitness is near by. UFC gym and LA Fitness are less than two miles away. Any option will be better for you than this gym.

Great gym, clean, machines are in good shape, repairs are quick whenever one breaks down, and the employees are friendly, just wish they had a barbell squat rack in addition to the smith machine. BUT, the reason I gave 3 stars is because the employee who is supposed to open the gym at 5 a.m. on Mondays has been late on SEVERAL occasions. Please speak with your employees about opening the gym on time as many of us are on tight schedules! It is extremely frustrating to arrive at the gym at 5 a.m. on a Monday morning only to wait outside in the parking lot for 20 minutes. Thank you.

tesia made it a such a great and welcoming experience when they gave me a tour of the gym. they were very informative of the different perks that planet fitness has to offer, made sure i was reassured in any doubts i had in joining this location (i was between this one and davie) and just an overall friendly vibe that convinced me to join. a few weeks pass by and i give an update on my weight loss and they had such a genuine expression of joy that it made me even more motivated to continue. such a great person and employee overall.
