YouFit Gyms

Nice staff but machines and cables are always broken for long periods. Also only one squat rack and it isn't safe for shorter people to use. This location is the ugly stepchild of Youfit.

Very rude personel at night (Shannon). Have seen her be rude to other guest as well. Only YouFit that needs ID for your guest to workout everytime. Guest has already taken pic, brought ID on multiple occasions and left email on their computer system. Cancelling membership immediately, rather pay a little more and go to LA Fitness.

I had been a member of You Fit since it was Planet Fitness in 2006. In December 2013, I went to TN for the holiday and put my membership on hold. I got stuck in TN due to illness and I couldn't fly back. They took my membership off hold and it was automatically charging my bank. I called and they wouldn't let me speak with the owner, Yoly. They told me that there were Planet Fitness Gyms in TN that I could visit. I told them that I didn't have that type of membership. Besides, the closest Planet Fitness was 45 miles away and I had no transportation. They also put extra charges on my account. This was ludicrous since I never signed a contract for anything other than a month to month..the basics for Planet Fitness and no updates with You Fit. They told me that I would have to come in and fill out paperwork and bring them money, as they weren't going to mail me any paper work to close my membership. I stayed in TN because I found employment. I finally went back to Pembroke Pines in September 2014 to fill out paperwork and eventually put my house on the market. They refused to give me the paperwork because they put my account in collections. Yoly's staff wasn't fair and this could have been resolved if I had spoken directly to her.

My husband and I had been going to this gym for 4 years and had to switch to a different company. Sadly, management has changed so many times, it's ridiculous. All YouFits now have the same garbage equipment. We use to strictly go to this location because it was the only one left with decent benches. Now the perfectly good benches were replaced with benches that don't even function well. You can seriously get injured on these horribly designed benches. The hooks for the bar are absurdly deep so trying to lift the bar up with any kind of weight is strenuous even for a person who can lift heavy weights...the gym only has one squat rack which sucks for many people waiting to use the only rack in the gym...the bathrooms suck. For a gym that is so "green" you have to flush the toilet several times just to get the toilet paper down and the sinks don't allow you to use the water long enough to wash your hands. The only good thing left is the very few staff members who have been there for a while. Everyone else has been replaced. Lastly, the A/C sucks at almost any time of the day. This location and all YouFits for that matter have gone down hill. The only thing YouFit has going for them is the massive number of cardio machines. Continue to go to YouFit if you don't want to make any improvements. These gyms are $10 for a reason.

Very good gym and has everything you need at a very reasonable price.Do you go to the gym for the pool which is generally only 4 feet deep, or do you go to have a good workout and skip all the frills ?Why pay extra for the Gym name and have to sign a contract.

Great gym, helpful staff. This youfit gives you a cozy home style gym vibe. It’s not the biggest in size yet somehow it’s rarely over crowded. Been coming here for years and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to workout.

Have been a member on and off since 2011. Always had amazing customer service. Shout out to Ray. One of the most friendly and professional customer service reps I've ever seen. Service quality of this degree is exceptional in south Florida. Highly recommend him and his location!

I like this gym location because the people who use it are working out and doing their thing, not just holding up(sitting on) the machines like the other Youfit. It is very clean. It is a little smaller but its straight to the point.

I love working out but This location has a BIG issue, they have Too many machines TEMPORARILY OUT OF ORDER. TEMPORARILY MEANS short period of time!!! Not over 6 months!!! And the GM' s are replaced every month! I've been to other Youfits and this one is the OLDEST, but it should NOT be this bad! Its close and convenient to my place of living. Oh also, Not enough Trainers like at Pines Blvd location and Taft is not Great with posting New Updated events !!!!

It was a good place overall.Me and my friend had some good fun.
