Planet Fitness

I've only been coming here for a short time but so far, so good. I used to go to LA Fitness but never really felt comfortable there...too much "gymtimidation!" I really appreciate the "Judgment Free" philosophy that PF promotes. The gym and locker rooms are always clean and well-maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially like the 30-minute circuit. I do miss going to yoga classes or using the sauna sometimes--none of that here--but the hydro-massage beds are a nice treat. I am subtracting one star because They have tanning beds. Why people would use or promote those knowing the skin cancer risks is beyond me...

I love this location!!!! All the staff is friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Berniece is always so helpful with any questions I have. The place is the cleanest gym I've been to and all of the equipment is working properly every time I've been here. Thanks for making my experience awesome!!!

I enjoy going to Planet Fitness, they have a large variety and plenty of equipment to go around. Their specialty areas are great for target area workouts also. No pressure to buy or use their trainers, but they are available if you want or need them. All in all a great experience for the novice gym goer.

I've always hated gyms, but needed a safe place where I can get in some regular exercise at any time of the day and with the Arizona heat quickly approaching I decided to finally pull the trigger. My sister took me for a work out as her guest and I checked out the facility. The gym has everything I need in a comfortable, clean setting. Their plans are straightforward and if you've paid for a gym membership before, you'll know that their price is very reasonable. I took advantage of a promo $1 to sign up, chose the Black Card membership (I can bring a guest, visit any location and treat myself to their massage lounge) for $20/mo. and the only other thing is that I will pay is $39 annually. For all that it offers, I thought it was a good deal. I used to go to Bally Total Fitness in LA and hated waiting in line just to use the treadmill. That's all I went to the gym for, so the idea that I had to wait to workout when after making the effort to get there in the first place was ridiculous and I was paying way more than I am now. I like being able to walk in and go straight to what I need, watch some tv while I work out and leave. Absolutely no waiting. People are courteous and clean machines after use. It's a safe place for people of all shapes and sizes due to their "Judgement free zone" motto, which I really appreciate, as you see regular people on the same mission to lead a healthy lifestyle. I have already recommended this gym to my colleagues.

Great environment and stress free workout facility. The best feature is the low cost for a monthly membership. Every time I arrive or leave I am always acknowledged by a staff member. The facility takes pride in their establishment making sure the equipment is repaired quickly when needed and the facility is always clean.

A lot of people like to bag on Planet Fitness and make it the butt of their jokes mainly because they have rules. People are there to work out, that's it. Basically it's a place where you chuck your ego at the door. Nothing wrong with that. …

Great Gym. The only thing I think needs improvement is more stair ergometersLiterally every time my husband and I go there we're always having to wait for one to become available. There should be 4 more of those and 4 less ellipticals, in my opinion, as those are very rarely busy and in use. Also some of the treadmills need to be checked, as the belts on some feel like they're getting worn down and loose. Other than that I agree it is very clean at this location. I recommend!

Love this gym. Its incredibly clean and customer service is great. I have been there for 9 months and never been mistreated and what they say u will pay..u pay, which is, in my case $20 since i like to tan. The manager, Bernice, is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Only complaint is when people sit and answer texts while not working out...which is hard to control by employees. Just need these people to be more courteous and realize we all like to get in and get done. I go all the time since its so comfortable.
