All the reviews regarding payment issues are 100% accurate. I joined when this place was owned by blast fitness. I walked in to cancel when a manager was on site (as requested when this place was still owned by blast fitness) I signed the required paperwork and thought my contract was cancelled. A few months go by and I realize that I am still getting charged. I called blast fitness to find out that it is now “crunch” fitness. I spoke with someone at crunch fitness who said “unfortunately blast fitness was giving out the wrong cancellation form so you will need to stop back in or write a letter)... how is that form that was signed by me and a manager at the time not enough proof that I wanted to cancel. I do not have the time to stop in when a manager is on site nor will I trust mailing anything in as a proper form to cancel this membership. I attached a couple photos of the date I cancelled (over a year ago!) and the most current date they have taken money out of my account. Take this review as a notice of cancellation.

Unfortunately, I have to caution and add to the many other negative reviews about this location's bad business practices. The memberships from my gym were purchased by Crunch Fitness.I was never informed by Fitness One or by Crunch Fitness of this change. My first call to Crunch, I had a pleasant conversation with a manager named Josh. Though he did his best to sell me on the change, my original gym was around the corner from my house and the distance to Crunch wasn't feasible for my schedule. When I called and spoke to a different manager Erin, I was advised that due to their policy my membership charge was non refundable.I continued to do a full cancel of membership to ensure I wouldn't be further charged or stuck in a membership I never agreed to have or wanted. If this has happened to you, call your bank and not only request a refund disputing the charge but also ask for a stop-payment. I will update with the results of my efforts through the bank.I have never seen their facility, the managers that I spoke with are pleasant, but I can only share my story and advise caution before signing up.

Signed up for membership. I use many gyms but new this one was out the way. Gentleman said i can cancel if i don’t like it. Called and ask him to cancel prior to the gym even opening, he said “I will take care of it, no worries.” Saw that I was in collections for this when it hit my credit. Called gym and spoke with Manager and based off the fact that I’ve never checked into the gym once he will not assist me whatsoever in clearing my balance. Says “I owe the gym money.” I have never step foot in the gym. I was more than reasonable. The gentleman I signed up with said he’d take care of the cancellation. This GM Joe lacks ethics and has a horrible business IQ. I would understand if I used the gym and was not making my payments.

HUGE WARNING to everyone interested in this gym.My gym membership was transferred to crunch fitness after fitness 1 closed down. Neither gyms informed me of the change. I requested a refund and cancellation. I politely explained that I never agreed to a membership here and asked for the refund. It’s basically theft. I never signed any membership with them. I was told to email Erin and she refused to refund me and they’re still charging me every month. Erin stopped responding after my 2nd email in june(it’s middle of August now).

Been going to this crunch location since I moved down to Arizona. All the machines are clean, always plenty of free weights available. Amazing staff, josh is one of the most helpful owners I’ve ever met, literally will come and help you with your workout if you need it. Sometimes it’s that little push you need to get through the workout. Love it there

All the reviews about this gym being a complete rip off are 100% true. I called to cancel a few months ago. And they told me I was good to go only to get a 49$ renewal fee bs all around. If I get anymore charges including cancellation I will file a lawsuit against these scammers.

DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. I wish I could give these guys a negative rating. They literally trapped me between my car and kept harrassing me even after I told them I wasn’t interested. Even after I told them I already had a gym. I finally gave …

I was approached by a Crunch employee by Ulta at Gateway Pavilions in Avondale. This man named Robert Garcia was trying to sign me up for Crunch and I decided to hear him out but he was very pushy and argumentative. Not the best way to sign someone up for the gym! I had politely refused to sign up and this seemed to trigger him and he started arguing with me about my current gym. After and hour of trying to tell this man that I was not interested he proceeded to pressure me with signing up for $1 and that I would receive a shirt. He then continued to make me feel guilty about myself for not singing up for the gym and that it would be something that I would regret.

Danny was very patient and helpful explaining all this gym has to offer. Haven’t worked out in years but he definitely encouraged me to start again & become a member. Thanks for everything, Danny!
