Orange theory is extremely inflexible on cancellation or change of membership. I moved from phoenix AZ to CA. There are so many hidden charges like $12 to book a class that is not in your home studio; 30 days notice for cancellation - which implies you are paying for an additional month after canceling the services. I’m an elite premier membership customer and despite that there are these additional charges on top of the existing membership fees- which is very unlike the other leading fitness centers like club pilates or core power yoga. I now have paid for two months of membership fees for services I am not using. Extremely ridiculous!

Orange Theory makes it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. I am a travel nurse and made the mistake of signing up for membership. I have paid for 5 months (150.00 per month) that I have not used. There is no direct number to call or online way to cancel. I am currently in a different state where I found another gym, I asked them for a cancellation form to mail in but they would not give me one stating that the cancellation form had to come from the original studio that I signed up at. When I got ahold of them they said they would email me a form but I would still have to pay for another month. I have nothing against the program other than what I consider their deliberate efforts to hinder membership cancellation.

I've been an OTF member in California since Oct. 2016. I love coming to OTF Paradise Valley when I visit my family here because it's just down the street and the trainers are incredibly motivating. I always know that I'll get an awesome workout in a non-judgmental and supportive environment when I come to this studio. Thanks! (Edit: years later, and this is still true! I also love that the coaches make an effort to get to know each member. It makes a difference in the workout experience.)

My biggest disappointment with this location and management, is the lack of communication. I had needed to terminate my membership, and I could never get anyone on the phone to tell me how to start this process. I ended up having to text message someone who worked there for a response. Days later, they sent me a termination agreement, but then took days to countersign it to initiate the cancellation. They apologized, and told me they got it via text. THREE months later, I notice that they are STILL auto-deducting my Terminated $99/month membership. And Getting that money refunded is just as difficult as it was to cancel the membership. They only refunded 2 of the 3 months because of the cancellation window that I was unable to make due to their lack of response. The manager Mela who called me was unapologetic and continued to reference the termination notice which was comical considering they didn’t follow those guidelines themselves, failed to cancel the auto deduction and totally disregarded the texts I have notifying them that I wanted to cancel. Customer service goes a LONG way, and it’s incredibly disappointing when a business in the wrong, isn’t willing to make it right.

I've been crushing all my hikes since starting this gym 2 yearish ago (took a break during 2020 until vaccines were more readily available). Wish they would offer vaccinated only classes with covid numbers going up again.

Love this gym. Has some of the better instructors in the valley for orange theory’s. Expensive but worth it.

Have been going to OTF Paradise Valley for over 5 years and Love, Love this place! Trainers are so awesome (I usually go to Kim or Chris's class) and they always give alternative ways to work the same muscles to us older folks (59) when we can't do what's on the plan that day! I also like that they correct you if you are doing anything wrong which helps make sure I don't get injured!

New, different, and challenging every time. Less intimidating than I thought. Biggest competition is ourselves! Just what I needed to pull me out of a mental rut! Great first week, unlimited membership is a great deal. The app is easy to use and lets you add multiple studios so you can check times and schedules in one place. Thank you Kim, Kim and Chris for a great first week at PV OTF.
