Theres a hidden $40 “annual fee” even on the $10 monthly subscription. Now I’ve paid $60 for a three month gym membership, double what I expected! Besides that, the gym is ok, too noisy for me and I don’t love all the TVs everywhere.

The gym is really clean and there is plenty of equipment. Just that when I went today every single elliptical machine was not turned on. Some of the treadmills too we’re not working.

LOUD MUSIC!!! Annoying, gym is always hot. Broken equipment and no one cares that works there. Find another place to workout at.

It was nice expierencing a new gym. Something I would like to do in life is workout in all 50 states. I would just suggest getting staff that's more attentive to there guests. The gentleman running the front desk didnt even look up at me as I told him to have a nice day when exiting. Being a first timer at a planet fitness I would imagine they would want to obtain my business since I had scanned in on a guest pass,but the gentleman running the front desk couldn't tell you that cause he had more important things to look at on his phone. Equipment isnt all I look at when it comes to a gym/fitness facility. A friendly motivate staff is very important to me as well. The young lady walking around refilling the sanitation bottles was very friendly and smiled alot.

Music is too LOUD! Cant hear your own earbuds. Gym has no circulation and is hot. Machines are always broken and never repaired. Manager doesn’t take care of concerns.

The “only” manager with brown shaggy hair at the Provo location is incompetent and I’m baffled as to how he got the managing position with as little communication and customer service skills as he has. I canceled my membership yesterday and was told by him that I would be charged $10 for the next month and that was all. I double checked with him that that was the only charge I would have and he said yes. Today I was charged the annual fee of $41 that he “didn’t notice” while canceling my membership. I was understanding at first and inquired about anything they could do and all he could say was “there’s nothing I can do”. Wow thanks so much you’re so helpful!! Don’t sign up at the Provo location.

Pros: Clean, lots of equipment. Not super busy. Hours are nice. Red light therapy.Cons: No squat racks, smith machines only, they have something against heavy weight lifters for some reason. No classes offered. Weird rules.

I’ve honestly been so disappointed with the customer service here. First when I signed up they signed me up twice and I was getting double charged, not realizing why for three months. Second, there have been multiple charges to my account that were unauthorized that I had to dispute. They always tell me the manager will call back, but they never do. The workers are nice enough but honestly just don’t seem like they were properly trained or are intentional about doing their jobs right. I switched home clubs back to Orem only because I don’t want the workers at this location having access to my billing. I’ve never had issues at Orem. I’m just disappointed that I can’t trust this location not to charge me when I don’t authorize it.
