First time ever going to this place. I made a membership online and once i got there everything was good i was able to work out well, but once i pick up my girls at their child care the babysitter was being very rude and all i have to say is i will never take my girls there or myself again. I made my membership today and i cancelled it today. I dont reccomend mothers with children to try this place. It didnt work for me if i could i would give 0 stars.

I’ve been an active member for 4-5 months and usually bring my 3 year old and 1 year old. The childcare is great, there is a good variety of cardio and weight machines, and the trainers are helpful and friendly. Memberships costs are very affordable too!

I’ve been a member of the Richardson Youfit health club since it opened in August 2015. Youfit is your basic health club for those who are looking for resistance training as well as cardio. I worked with a trainer for the first couple of years to learn the proper technique for using the equipment. I’ve never belong to a health club before and the Richardson Youfit club is ideal for me. I highly recommend this club.

I paid for four sessions of training and a membership ($140). I went to use the sessions, the other day and was told that they expire after 90 days and my money was non refundable. I spoke with the lady named Lucy over the phone and she was extremely rude about it. I at least wanted some of the money that I "lost" applied to my gym membership. I will be contacting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and anyone that I see signing up for a membership, I will make sure that they know my story about this company stealing my money. At the point of sale, this information was not discussed. I will also be speaking to my bank.

You Fit Richardson is an amazing workout facility. State of the art equipment with almost any machine/weights available at all the times I visit.Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff. Christian, Armel and Hollie are great. My trainer Mariah is outstanding! I would highly recommend. I am new to gyms but I see a wide range of people using You Fit. Monthly memberships are beyond reasonable.

Good clean gym with plenty of space. Friendly staff. Locker room well maintained. Some of the cardio equipment is now starting to appear a bit worn in the console area but I am optimistic they will soon be serviced.

One of the best gyms in Richardson area. The gym is well maintained and clean. You can always find a machine to work on. I almost never struggle to do my workout. The staff are wonderful! There is no fraud and the staff does not trick you to get your money. As long as they maintain this regular cleaning, POSITIVE ALTITUDE , and HONESTY this gym is going to stay in the top!

Worse than car salesmen. Here's my story so far:A week ago I went in to sign up. The staff was really friendly and gave me a full tour of the gym including the daycare area. They DID NOT mention that they do not feed/change your child. Which would have been super important.I sign up for a membership and find out that to include daycare is an additional $10 a month PLUS an additional $39.99 a year for annual fees. They get a trainer/coach to talk to me. I agree to get the 4 sessions with a trainer. They tell me they're scheduling me to see a trainer and gave me an appointment card.So I show up for my appointment and waited for about 30 min. I then find out that I've been rescheduled for a different time. I reschedule for a different day because I couldn't do the time they moved me to. So the day of my new appointment, I'm in the car ON THE WAY TO THE GYM, and I get a call asking if I can reschedule. I told him I'm in my car and he says he can move it 30 min later. So I agree and go to the gym to work out 30 min, and then visit with him for 30 min. I take my kid to the daycare and workout for 30. I go to my appointment, which I was told was an assessment to place me with a trainer. IT ISN'T. It's another sales tactic to get me to sign up with an ADDITIONAL package with a trainer. I've already given them $120 in addition to about $39, and they're already asking me for more money. I haven't even started my Jump start yet!He wouldn't take no for an answer and kept talking in circles. I ended up being in his office for an hour. By the time I got my son he had been in daycare for an hour and half. but had not eaten for about 2 and half hours by then.I feel so pressured when I come into this place. I get phone calls daily asking me if I want to sign up and I tell them I already have. Every time I talk to someone from there, they want to sell me more stuff. And they will NOT take no for an answer. I feel targeted as a sucker and I feel so uncomfortable. I haven't even been a member for a month. If you're a mom, DON'T GO HERE.If you sign up for Jump Start, BE FOREWARNED!

This location is a joke. We moved down the road back in March and have had consistent issues with this location. We had remaining sessions at a previous location which they said they could honor. I was able to get mine taken care of quickly but my wife had a headache of an experience trying to work with Holly, the store manager. He would not return phone calls like we were promised and she had to call multiple times and I eventually had to start pressing as well. Then in September I requested my sessions be put on freeze due to financial issues. Within a few days my trainer was let go and none of his clients were notified. I showed up for a session to find that he had been let go. I have no idea the reasoning but that guy worked his butt off and was always professional.Upon learning this, I requested that my freeze be changed to a cancellation as I would be continuing training with my trainer outside of YouFit. Holly repeatedly mentioned their policies, which I told him multiple times that I understood but wanted to see if upper management would make an exception due to the circumstances. He said he'd call/email and get back to me either that evening, the next day (Friday), or Monday at the latest. 1, 3, 5, 7 days go by. No call. So I call and he said I didn't give him enough time. Um, you gave me a timeline and I was following up.After 2.5 weeks of tag, we finally got it sorted out and my sessions were "cancelled". Woe is me when 10/10 I was charged for sessions despite my cancellation. Called in and spoke with Holly again and he said he'd look into it and call me right back. You guessed it, I had to call back later that day and he was too busy to come to the phone. Called again next day and he said the refund request was being processed and that it could take up to 30 days but probably not that long. That'd be fine if this were $20 or $30. This is $160 that I didn't exactly have (recall my freeze request above due to financial constraints). So, yeah. Thanks YouFit for this "wonderful" experience. I will be canceling my membership and will not be returning. Ever. For anyone else, if you are told that Holly will call/contact you for something. Don't bother waiting. You'll have to call yourself and follow up.

I started working out in February of 2018! My son use to work for Youfit at the same location! I wish he still worked here. I love the staff and atmosphere! This place is "my me-time!" I have such a great sense of accomplishment during and after working out!" I often video myself on social media to encourage others! Many of my over forty Facebook and Instagram friends and family say I vitalized them to get back into working out!
