Gold's Gym at Willow Lawn offers a 24/7 fitness experience with a wide array of equipment and classes. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and helpful staff, the gym caters to both beginners and fitness enthusiasts. This location is praised for its friendly trainers, like Paige Spencer and Jesse Fuller, and its variety of group classes.
However, the gym faces criticism for billing issues, cleanliness in locker rooms, and the challenging membership cancellation process. I have been a member since 2008 and couldn't imagine another gym. The atmosphere is great and the staff is more than helpful. Over the years, just through passing I have gotten to know many of the friendly and courteous staff who almost go out of their way to be friendly. Almost every time I come in I can expect to be greeted by such great people as Sam Chewing, Matt Ward and Whit Southall. Again, couldn't be happier with the experience I feel.

I have been going to Gold's Gym Willow Lawn since 2007 and feel like it's my home away from home! I have met so many of my friends there. The staff is super friendly. Brianna is doing a fantastic job as the new Group X Director and her classes are so fun to take because of her positive energy. She just makes you smile and enjoy the workout. I wouldn't want to work out anywhere else!

Joined Gold's upon moving to Richmond a couple months back. Aaron Gunter made the process simple and painless. After speaking with him on the phone prior to my arrival, he had the contract ready to go when I arrived, leaving me only to sign my name.I couldn't be happier in my decision of joining Gold's with Aaron. The gym stays up to date with the latest and best equipment and their staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Keep up the great work Willow Lawn!

I recently graduated from college and wanted to join a gym. Gold's Gym at Willow Lawn was only one of the first places I visited and it did not take me long to realize my search for the perfect gym was over. After speaking with one of the personal trainer managers, Jesse Fuller, on my first visit I walked away a member and have since then convinced two of my friends to join.I am impressed with how friendly, not just Jesse, but everyone at the gym is.People there motivate you and want you to succeed in meeting your goals. There is not a day I go to the gym where someone does not compliment my efforts. The trainers are so helpful and support you in everyway that they can.I am really happy I joined and cannot thank Jesse enough for making the choice easy. He even took time out of his schedule to show my friend and I some exercises that would help us with our goals.I have only been at the gym for a few weeks but I know this is something I am going to stick with. Working out makes me feel great and with a variety of classes at Gold's, as well as personal trainers like Jesse always there to help you, it is so much more than just a gym; it is a network of people working together.

I've been a member of Gold's/Willow Lawn since shortly after it opened (2006?). It has always been a pretty good gym. I've had issues with crowding (accepting too many memberships) and I still do but I'm writing now to commend a Gold's employee. James Waters is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and seems genuinely concerned with the customer's experience and concerns. Frankly I would not say that about too many people who work there and/or have worked there. The trainers are generally friendly and approachable but that hasn't really been my experience with the front desk staff, sales staff, management or ownership. I will say that I have seen some evidence of improvements of late. I am hopefully a new culture of customer satisfaction will evolve. I feel like James could be helpful with that if ownership/management is serious about moving in that direction. Some of the trainers could be too (Sam, Anthony, Mara...).

I joined Golds Gym over a year ago and for the past 6 months have been doing classes in the am and sometimes in the pm. I love them and the instructors are great and always friendly. The staff is mostly friendly, especially Whit Southall. He always greets me and asks how I am doing. He has also helped me with some different workouts so I am not doing the same stuff day in and day out. He always has a good attitude and is very friendly towards members.

I've been training at Golds Gym for almost 2 years and just recently started the Git 30 classes. Ive worked with Anthony Spencer and Roberto Marshall. Both have there unique styles which challenge both your strength and agility. I like the individual coaching and team atmosphere.Josh Perks is a great spotter and helps me with correct form.Facility is clean and the weights are in good condition but you could use some higher weighted dumbbells. Thanks to James Waters

I have been a member of Golds Gym Willow Lawn since January of this year. I have been extremely impressed with the staffs friendliness and overall customer service. Aaron Gunter signed me up and has been very upfront and honest with me. He conducts himself with a level of professionalism that is second to none. Aaron is concerned about creating a positive experience at the gym with his clients to ensure that everyone sees great results from working out at Golds. This politeness has resignated well with me and given me a smooth transition, to a great gym. I highly recommend Golds gym Willow Lawn for people at all physical levels/capabilities and Aaron Gunter will see to it that you are taken care of.

A few months ago I purchased a membership at The Fan Gold's Gym from a representative named Matt. I fully enjoyed my time at The Fan. Later, after relocating, I found myself closer to the Willow Lawn gym and behold there was Matt! It was a great surprise! It is rare that you find a sales person that is so personable. Being in the sales business, I know how hard it is to remember every customers name, but he remembers me and greets me kindly when I enter and even gives me tips on what workout I should go with to achieve my goals. This Gold's and this guy is awesome!
