Gold’s has been a great gym IMO. Does it get busy during peak hours? Yes. But the members are friendly and the gym has enough equipment to go around. Sometimes I do have to wait a few minutes for a machine but this is a first world problem. Is the music loud? Yes. Does everyone wear headphones? Also yes. But if I don’t have my headphones or I need to let my ears breathe, I don’t want to hear heavy breathing, grunting, and weights clanking. So am I OK with the loud music? Also also yes.I’ve only taken the Gold’s Burn and Gold’s Fit classes in the morning and they are great. Coach Darnell is a lot of fun and I dig his playlists. My only beefs are:*The Gold’s Burn room has been out of commission for several months now.*The parking lot needs to be repainted (I have poor night vision, OK 🤣).*The pool is empty but nothing useful is being done with the space.AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST*The toilets in the women’s bathroom barely flush. For the love of all that’s holy Gold’s please fix the toilets! The end.

Facilities need some upgrading/ maintenance, especially since they are increasing their rates. Staff are all very nice.

This particular location, though pretty busy, is clean, well maintained, and great for workouts! I prefer this location to the one closer to my house.

I originally had an amazing experience at golds gym and was set up with a great trainer. Unfortunately, I’m now my credit is being damaged because of the auto-payments and lack of accessibility regarding canceling a membership, even after calling and being told by an employee it was now cancelled. I was charged for 5 months after i stopped going and now debt collectors are harassing me. Predatory behavior for a gym. Absolutely organized this way. Wish I could leave less than 1 star.

Planning on joining this gym. I checked out the place loved the vibe. The reception was super nice. The place was so nice. I hope the bathrooms are clean and maintained.

Spacious and lots of good, new equipment. Could use more benches in the free weights section and an assisted pull-up machine and a second leg extension machine but those are very minor gripes considering the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the uncrowded (by people or equipment) floor.

Husband and I are both veterans and signed up with a military discount - we received that rate for the first month only. Front desk staff are rarely present to handle admin issues and no one answers the phone. Used to go a Gold’s in Austin pre-pandemic when they still had a pools open, it was a better value then. Literally anyone could walk in to this location with or without a membership… adding insult to injury, the “manage membership” option on their app does not let you terminate your membership online. We wish they were better, but they have a long list of things to improve on.

No one answers the phone. I was in the area and wanted to see if this location (Pflugerville) was a level 3 so I could work out there.
