Gold's Gym Pflugerville

It's a nice gym but it always seems to be packed. I wish they could have made that location 2 story to spread things out & put more equipment. No bad experience with staff but I get in & get out.

My experience at Gold's gym was great until I wanted to cancel my membership, because I am leaving for college. The customer service here is absurdly poor and a member of the staff here misguided me into paying for an extra month I won't be in town to use nor need, because of the amenity center provided by the apartment I'm moving into.As I requested to cancel my membership in early July, right before I was being billed, one of the representatives at the gym convinced me to stay another month, so I may workout until mid august (which is what I had planned to do). He basically told me my termination was premature and in order me to go to Gold's to work out until mid august I had to wait to pay for the end of July until mid august and then I could cancel. I waited patiently and paid for the next month and as advised I canceled after paying for the month, but what he hadn't told me was that I was going to get charged an extra month due to their 30 day heads-up policy. I could actually care less about the policy, because after signing the gym contract you are legally bound to do this, but what really made me frustrated with my experience at Gold's is the fact in which the employees, against the well being of the customers and their interest, are willing to compromise their ethics in order to try to rid you out of your money.I have already talked to a manager about this and the conversation was a waste of my time, because she had told me their "termination program" could not reverse any of this, and by pointing straight to the contract saying it is my fault I did not terminate my membership early enough.Anyways it is apparent that after my membership is cancelled I will probably take my business to 24 Hour Fitness,(where I had originally been) because their staff are very transparent about when you should cancel based on your timeline.

I use to love this gym but I sadly have to give a 1 star review due to the fact that I asked for a cancellation and it was not. They will not refund me the money I lost which I think they should. I was misinformed despite following the process. Lesson is, make sure you get a copy of sign documentation when terminating your membership with them.

Gold's Gym does have a lot of problems. But I am able to get my workout in, swim, take a shower, and use the locker room on a daily basis without there being a lot of issues. I am a regular here. Yes, they could have better equipment, be cleaner, renovate the locker rooms; however, I am able to do what I came there to do and that's what matters most to me.

I've been going to this gym since it opened. Great location, great lay out and the classes are awesome. I love using the sauna after a work out and although I haven't used it, the pool is a great touch too. The gym as a whole is always tidy, as are the bathrooms/locker room. In my experience, people have been pretty respectful of my space and I've always felt comfortable working out here. The yoga classes are my favorite. Go see my girl, Miranda for a killer Buti Yoga class. You won't regret it!

I have been a member for a little over year and gold's gym is filled with very dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic community of personal trainers and fitness enthusiasts. The studio coaches are very professional and knowledgeable, they create an environment that supports your goals and help provide the pathways to get there. The studios and facility are very spacious and cleanly, even during busy times. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and they have a variety of equipment to provide a great workout! I highly recommend the gold's gym, especially the studio classes! Thank you:)

Such a great environment! The stuff and trainers are super friendly and simply the best. The gym itself is super clean and organized very well. Especially the studio classes. I see time after time the coaches staying after to do extra from mopping the floors to wiping down all the equipment. The coaches for studio classes are always upbeat, supportive and taking time to really know their members. Best gym I've even been part of.

All the staff especially the Studio Coaches are amazing! One of the great things is that all the studio rooms are clean and wiped down after each class and all equipment it where is should be. It's great to get a good workout in when you know you're getting the best experience possible. They definitely go the extra mile! I feel the rooms are cleaner than other gyms I have been to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly, clean, and encouraging atmosphere!

Golds gym is the best at giving you all the tools you need to succeed. They are friendly and the classes are fun. Never had a problem with their equipment. Clean facility.

Great facility! The staff are friendly, they offer a wide variety of classes, and I rarely have to wait to use a machine. After looking at multiple gyms in the area, I could not find a better one for a better price!
