Nice clean friendly gym. Equipment is kept up and locker room is clean with private showers. Mondays are usually busy, but the rest of the week not too much.

I cancelled my membership after only having it for 3 months. I came in on the 26th and was able to cancel it with ease. HOWEVER, the associates failed to tell me that there was a $40 annual fee that was going to be taken from my account and that I should have came in one day earlier (the 25th) in order to have avoid the large fee. I say large because I was paying for my membership and my partner's. Now I have lost over $80 due to annual fees. Definitely not ever going back. Typical gyms just try to scam you for your money and nothing good comes from it.

Yo Jason is an absolute madman, the man puts pear essential oil in the cleaning spray. He treats the gym like his own home, ya'll should be giving my man a raise. No but for real he makes the environment super comfortable and lovely to be in, and it wouldn't be the Sam's without him. The rest of the staff is lucky to have him.

If you ever have to sit down and wait for hydro massage or tanning or any of the black card benefits they WILL forget about you, I’m posting this after the 4th occasion because I’m fed up with it, different employees each time too. People at the front desk are short with you and are rarely happy, and if you have to do something that isn’t part of the normal routine they consult with every other employee and it takes forever. They sometimes have the personal trainers man the front desk and they are totally clueless to what’s going on. I travel a lot and have been to many locations and this is one of the worst ones I’ve been to, too bad it’s the closest one to where I actually live.

Best planet fitness in salt lake area and I’ve been to almost all of them. They have a great selection of equipment, but on top of that they are clean AND all the staff is friendly. Out off all the gyms I’ve been to this has taken my number 1 slot. I really do have to say that the staff goes above and beyond for their customers.

I think the facility is great. Never super crowded, always clean, people are friendly enough. However I guess signing up I should have asked more questions because they failed to mention how their billing cycles work and that basically I had to pay twice in the month of January. So really I paid more than what their advertisements state.When I called to ask about it then they choose to casually mention that, don't even apologize for not mentioning that to begin with. I will agree I should have read things better on the electronic signing pad which the contract appears, and maybe even asked for a physical copy but for now I'm going to be that annoying petty person on Google Reviews that probably no one cares about but whatever.

Always clean and the employees are friendly. Even when busy it's not TOO busy to where you can't get equipment you want. Definitely recommend!

Super clean, nice and friendly staff with an extremely low amount of douchebags and the apropriate equipment for the ability to get anything from tone to shredded. FYI they dont lunk you for dead lifting if youre not annoying and yes they only have a smith machine for bench but its safer for solo lifts and gets the same results ... because its still weight... and you can always add more you oversized monkeys....

Really the most groovy wall panels anywhere in America. This location has posh tile shower area and changing area, but fiberglass shows which are clean. Pretty nice clean area and well worth the price.

I highly suggest that people stay away from this gym. There is one particular employee that likes to harass customers who come into this gym late at night. Tonight I was literally one of maybe 3 people in the gym and about six feet from the "lobby" area speaking quietly on my phone. There wasn't anyone within 100 yards of me. The planet fitness employee came over and asked me to get off my phone. At first I looked around for cameras thinking I was being punked. Then I realized he was serious. I asked him if he could tell me the purpose of the rule. Which he could and did not. So I replied, "the rule is likely out of consideration For other customers. There is no one here and I'm literally six feet from the "lobby" area." Since this was the second time in three nights I had been harassed by this same employee under similar circumstances I told him that I was "going to speak to the manager and complain." He left and then returned 15 minutes later and informed me that I could speak with the manager tomorrow but insisted that I get off my phone or I would need to leave the gym. I ended my call, looked at him and laughed and said, "are your serious? " Then said, "I'm going to video tape this for your manager so they can see there is literally no one aound me and I'm six feet from the lobby area and I'm not bothering anyone" To which he replied and said or rather threatened "then I'm going to call the police". I laughed and said "go aheadi haven't done anything" and this was AFTER I hung up the phone because I think he suddenly realized how asinine he was Being. I will speak to the manager tomorrow and see how they handle this. I have never experienced anything so unbelievable. I do wished I had video taped the employee. It was so funny it would have been guaranteed to go viral.
