Clean, friendly, spacious, with lots of equipment to go around. One of my favorite places to unwind and burn off the stress of the day. If you don't like the once-a-month Pizza Monday, do what I do: DON'T EAT IT. But I will fersure be taking a Tootsie Roll on my way out.

I was a victim of theft (by a patron of Planet Fitness) due to faulty lockers. Manager was unsympathetic and even rude. She even lied to the police about her surveillance so she could just cover things up and move on. I'll take my business elsewhere.This place IS clean, but that's because not a lot of people come here. Now I understand why. They lack in a lot of equipment as well.

The only nice things about this gym are that it isn't ever very crowded and it is clean - except for the garbage can always overflowing in the men's locker room.Management (Marnie) is horrible. She was rude and lied. This gym caters to those who want to do mostly cardio. They lack in variety of equipment and the equipment they do have is stiff and mediocre at best. They put a bowl of candy on their counter and have pizza night once a month to keep their clients fat and unhealthy as motivation to keep them coming in.Management brushes theft aside - acting like it doesn't every happen... such as cars being broken into in the parking lot.

I've been coming here since almost the grand opening. This gym is great! Extremely clean, well equipped, and parking is plentiful. The staff is alsoExtremely nice, and diverse (something Millennials value above all else). Thank you!

This location is ok. It's large, clean and has a very varied selection of equipment. However, in terms of customer service, this location is lacking. I'm a transfer from the now-closed Cottonwood Heights location where I became friends with the staff, partially due to their great treatment of customers. Now, because PF has the best prices in town, I'm going to a location farther from my home, where team members simply turn the TVs off in front of you two minutes before they close. I understand wanting to get out of work ASAP but a simple, "Hey, we will be closing in a few minutes. I gotta turn of the TVs. Sorry to interrupt your show." would be nice. That's the kind of thing that occurred at the Fort Union location. Instead, TVs are just shut off and you get no kind of good bye from the staff, like customers ALWAYS did in Cottonwood Heights. Rather, at least in tonight's encounter, the team member simply looks burdened by our presence and so grateful we are leaving. I don't know, maybe I was simply spoiled at my previous location.

This location as far as the physical gym is really nice and always very clean. The issue I have is part staff and part location.I have had a membership to planet fitness for close to 5 years now and have been to a few locations and as far as customer service goes this one falls beneath the others. There are one or two that are really friendly but the rest of them barely say hello when you walk in or goodbye when you walk out. There have been times that I have walked in and they didn't say a word, they just hold up the scanner to scan my phone or card and then turn back to their computer. The other locations I have been to in the past (Cottonwood heights and South Jordan) always greated me with a friendly hello and smile and usually say "have a great work out" or "have fun" something to let you know they appreciate your business. I am lucky if I get a "hello" at this location.My second issue, which is not necessarily this locations fault, is how busy it is. Geographically this is a great location. Very central and close to the freeway and other poplar businesses and with that it brings a lot of business which is understandable. However, since they closed their cottonwood heights location and all of our memberships were transferred to the murray location, this gym has almost become too populated. There have been several times that I have come and almost all the treadmills were being used and a good majority of machines already taken. I am not sure why they closed their cottonwood heights location but I feel it was a mistake.I think this gym has the potential to be a really great location, they just have a few things to work on as far as their staff and perhaps opening another location to the east again to help with relieving congestion at this location.

Totally love it. Very nice people.Go out of their way to help you in any situation. Affordable prices. Nice Gym and easy to figure out the equipment. The only down side is I've seen the guys will sweat all over a piece of the equipment then move on to the next and NOT wipe the one down they were on.Come on guys its totally gross.Please be so kinda an wipe it down when your done using it. Other then that I would recommend Planet Fitness to anybody.

Joined PF a few months ago and loved every second of it. Love the black card amenities and the bathrooms are always clean. Really like the water fountain that sences my water bottle. And all the cleaning stations. The staff is always so energetic and friendly, they also know their stuff about tanning and red light! Some family problems came up amd we were unable to continue our membership. I totally spaced letting them know we couldnt make it anymore. We joined another gym (one with a daycare) the other gym was awful nothing but "lunks" in there filthy filthy place not as much included as with PF. I really want to rejoin PF but im scared of how much i will have to pay in past due to reatart my membership. I would recoment this gym to everyone!!!! Way to go PF!!!!!

Finally a company that listens! I left the review below last week with one star after hurting my ankle on their treadmill. I returned this week after they replied to see what had been done. The same machine that I rolled my ankle on is now rock solid and the others where fixed as well.No one is perfect and things happen. The immediate follow up and resolution imoresses me. It's rare to see this sometimes. It clearly shows the owner of this facility truly cares about the experience their members recieve.I'm just visiting the area so unfortunately this isn't my home gym but I surely wish it was.Great job! Thank You!Below this line is my original review.Faculty was clean and seemingly well kept. Lockerroom was extremely clean above average however. Tried 3 different treadmills. Platforms on all three where extremely unstable and the one machine wobbled and bounced so bad that my cellphone FLEW out of the holder.. Finally settled on the best of 3 that I tried and it was still so bouncy and unstable I rolled my ankle and had to stop. I run at planet fitness gyms all the time and these are by fare the worse setup machines I have come across.. RUNNERS BEWARE..
