I love this gym. On a good day I might spend 4 hours here. Basketball, weights, treadmill, hot tub , swim, and sauna, each about 30-40 mins a piece 👌 …

Comparatively to other Life Time's in the area (Bloomingdale and Oak Brook) Schaumburg is dirty and run down with equipment that is old, beat up and not functioning properly. Many pieces of cardio equipment have heart rate monitors that aren't functioning, have worn bearings to where the equipment is loud while using, and don't start correctly unless you physically unplug and replug them in so they can reboot. These are things you'd expect at one of the 20 dollar a month gyms, not when people are paying between $80-$160/month. Life Time of Schaumburg needs a serious overhaul and quick. I don't blame the staff, I think they actually do the best they can and they are nice people. This is strictly corporate level budgeting issues. So for those folks at the corporate level, make a visit to Schaumburg and do something about it. It seems from top to bottom there are issues, see Oak Brook and the leaking A/C units in the gym destroying brand new equipment. Life Time needs to implement root cause and corrective action processes or I fear this gym won't be around in several years due to poor leadership. Please get it together.Update after 1 year:As all are mentioning, the cost increase. I don't see why aside from corporate greed. Not much progression. I don't see this as a GM or staff level problem, it is a Corporate level problem... When is the last time someone from Corporate came at 5pm on a weekday ? Equipment is still very dated, gym is still dirty. (Example: Leg curl bars are all crooked, lots of machines have extra slack in the wire ropes and/or show bare metal, many clips missing on cable machines/towers.) Last week I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper in the single stall bathroom upstairs, this is unacceptable and gross. A few stop-gaps added for "Alpha" training (cheap racks for rack pulls, stiff legged deadlifts and possibly squats) but this place needs a serious equipment overhaul and needs more equipment added, there is plenty of floor space. Moving a cable tower from one end of the gym to the other doesn't improve anything.. ADD MACHINES and push the "Alpha" training back 15-20 feet.If you plan to workout around 4:00pm-7:00pm on weekdays it is WAY too busy.Stop allowing personal trainers from other gyms into the facility to train clients. Stop allowing people to setup tripods to record themselves. Update the rules on the wall and actually enforce them.Note: How in the world is the elevator STILL not working? Get a new vendor for servicing the elevator?!? I get it there are supply chain issues STILL but there must be other options. This has not been a reasonable amount of time, how is this not a violation of Americans with Disabilities Act Requirements ??

This is one of the best lifetimes in the Chicago area. It is extremely well run, great staff, clean and everything works. Sauna is the best Lifetime sauna compared to the others in NW Chicagoland.

Thus was our first time to get enrolled at this location. Darrel was very helpful and gave us all the best customer service and information about the gym.He answered our questions and was very polite talking to us. Thanks for your great customer service.

We were waiting in line at the cafe for 10 min while the Hispanic girl with a lot blemishes on her face was flirting with customers. The customer noticed us and said go ahead guys. When we walked up to order I placed my order just for the short girl to say NAH WERE CLOSED. She gave me a condescending attitude. I preceded to ask the other employee to make me food and the boy said no as well. I asked what time they closed she said 10pm and it was 9:50pm. I get you want to go home and close up Shop but why make us wait in line for so long. You could have said we’re closing from the start. Terrible customer service in my opinion but I can’t expect anything when there were only children working that time.

Terrible and dishonest gym with outdated equipment at absurd prices. Stacey Brown is the new incompetent GM that doesn't notify you of price increases, and then ribs in your face that new members are paying a higher rate than you. I stuck through this gym through COVID where fees were only reduced for a short amount of time, and then skyrocketed back up even though the gym wasn't even 24 hours anymore! On top of that, the "emails" that she claimed were sent notifying of price increases didn't arrive. They didn't send any letter, no repeat notification. Just claims they sent one email and jacked rates up the very next month. Pathetic business practices. We have a lot of friends moving to the area and advise all of them to avoid this place like the plague. Our family were loyal members but I'll be honest, she just seems like such a nasty person that I don't trust this gym or the company anymore. Loyalty means nothing to this company and this woman, just price gouging. Raising rates 37% in 2 years isn't due to "inflation", it's about some wannabe price gouging sales "GM" who wants to increase revenues in the short term so she can move to ruin some other business for her own self-fulfillment. Besides that, they're not reinvesting any of the increased dues in better services. Go to X-Sport or Prairie Stone Fot ess, the management at this location are grossly incompetent.

Been a lifetime member for better part of 20 years. Fits my interests and has the equipment and amenities that I've wanted. Some of the new amenities - yoga and cycle studios are great

Place is packed.First, it's a challenge to find a parking when you come after normal work hours.Once you step inside, there are not enough stations so you lose a lot of time waiting for stations to open. When you are done, lockerroom and the showers are a mess. Sometimes, it's a challenge looking for vacant locker. There are staffs but because it's so crowded, it isn't kept clean.

Was given a 31 day notice of a rate increase, I feel like this should have been a 60 to 90 day notice. This notice came 12 hours before they billed me for March, so there was no time to consider canceling. So I got forced into paying another month for the gym based on their cancelation policy.
