I had a membership here since 2019 and loved it but when I moved I called to cancel. At the time the girl on the phone was very sweet and said she could cancel it on the call but they would have to charge the next month of dues. I told her it was not a problem and thank you for the heads up. 2 months later I notice that I have messages from Eos saying my payment is needed. After calling again, the staff simply said there was no note and that I had to pay what I owed before they could cancel. The manager took the phone from the guy who initially answered, didn’t even give me his name, and basically said too bad. Hilarious that he wants me to have the name of his staff ready when he didn’t even give me his name.Heads up when cancelling— take note of who you talk to and I’d probably recommend calling once or twice more to make sure it was in fact cancelled. So disheartening that after 3 years of membership they couldnt waive one erroneous charge. I loved this gym and even met a good friend here from the front desk. Eos is super shady but I do love the gym. I would still recommend them but please be extra thorough when canceling and watch your cards.edit— after calling customer service and Andrea following up. I’m assuming maybe just the guys I talked to were just not very kind. The rep from ABC was amazing and I am happy to see Andrea is replying to emails. In the end, they were able to wave the erroneous fees but it was definitely stressful calling the club directly. It’s a great gym but document everything.

If I could give the employees a -200 on doing their job I would. Like how hard is it to cancel a membership and send out paper work or cancellation notice to an email? It’s 2022 almost 2023. You have all the tools and resources to get the job done. Also it’s not that hard. I canceled my membership on 10/07/2022 here I am getting charges to my account for 11/2022 and now 12/2022. I called and spoke to someone at the Scottsdale location told me the person never canceled my membership. So you want me to pay 26$ each month for someone who is incompetent of doing their job? Not my issue I told the guy. So now since nothing has gotten resolved they will be dealing with my credit card company. I filed a dispute and I’m on my way to get my paper work from them in person. I will say this as other people have said this get there name of who you spoke too and honestly write down the dates you spoke and try to cancel your membership. It will come in handy. Also honestly every gym is the same thing the employees just make it different. But when you have employees who don’t know how to do their job right you will lose business. Just saying.

I like their old school machines and weights racks. But place need to be managed better. Something is always out of service. They don’t refill their paper towels or sprays. Is annoying. Also those fans in the ceiling are hell while working out. That breeze kinda kills it. Oh well. Follow me @fitginii on tiktok and Instagram to see my workouts ;)

REVIEW FOR PERSONAL TRAINING ONLY: Great gym however as others have mentioned do NOT buy into the other features offered at this gym! I was convinced to buy personal training sessions about a month ago and have yet to receive such services despite being billed for it! I have called multiple times to get in touch with the scheduler and NOTHING! No return call, no messages. It's baffling to have this type of "professionalism" and for me to pay for services that are not being done. Upon signing the manager made promises of getting someone for me as soon as possible... now it's been several weeks. Furthermore, even though I had some previous personal training sessions left (that I already paid for) I was told I could not use them unless I bought into the program again. Like how? I already paid for them! It's annoying and frustrating having to deal with this and my advice for anyone thinking of starting personal training at Eos, think twice before signing a contract with them!

Horrible customer service. Cannot even get the Fitness manager to speak to me regarding my issue. Continuously charging me $76 every two weeks for no reason at all. Staff is clueless. I managed a gym and it’s not that hard… most people that work at this club would be fired if they worked under me…. Get it together people.

Trying to cancel my membership. Cancelled on 10/11 and I am okay with $9.99 taken on 10/22 for membership to end 11/22 as discussed on the phone. Then on 10/27, I see another payment is scheduled for withdrawal on 12/21??? I called to confirm the cancellation is happening and to get an email this time. Different terms this time, I get stuck with another $9.99 on 11/11 for membership to end on 12/11 and it's not even prorated. Terrible customer service, I looked up and read my agreement and it's up for interpretation. Talking with the operations manager today, he chose to interpret the agreement with the option to charge me more money.

A few months back I noticed an invalid charge on my card from eos, being that my card was recently stolen I call the card company and reported it as fraud, assuming that would be the end of the matter. Today I received a call from a collections agency about a balance owed to Eos, receiving no calls prior from eos about the amount in question. In contacting them, explaining that I don't live in the state the gym membership was active, card was stolen, have a current local gym membership maintained for years I still owed that amount or it would be reported on my credit report. The membership being established online and used that it was in fact valid membership, even though I wasn't in the state at the time. Being that I didn't want credit affected due to an unethical company, I made the payment. I write this review in hopes that other people will not be negatively affected by this company. Fitness being a very important part of one’s life, however dealing a dishonest company only concerned about generating revenue shouldn't be a part of one’s fitness goals. Please use caution when working with this company, I hope this circumstance doesn’t happen to you. There are honest gyms, in my experience this is not one of them.

Bad customer service. I signed up which literally took 2 minutes which I was pumped about. Supposed to be $10 per month and I even confirmed there is no annual fee because I was only using this gym for their pool but I usually work out at Mountainside Fitness. (I signed up at Northsight but he said I can workout at Scottsdale 101 location that has the pool). He said there was no annual fee. 1 month later I get charged a $60 fee. I call them to speak to them about the fee and the guy said it was in the contract I signed. The only thing I signed was the receipt that said $10 per month and the guy signed all the other forms. Just wish they were upfront and didn't lie about the fee. I wouldn't have signed up and just continued to use Cactus Pool instead of lying and scamming people.

I have been coming here for months and always have a great workout. Not too crowded, they always get machines repaired when needed, and great amenities. You really can't beat the price, $20 for access to all the locations is an amazing deal. Michael helped set me up with everything and was super professional and always greets me when I walk in. Keep it up guys, would highly recommend.

I recently witnessed 2 extremely unprofessional moments. Employee’s name tag read Johnny. I watched him berate a front desk employee for all to see. REALLY unprofessional. Second, an employee’ was patiently waiting for him to finish conversation with a customer. Customer even pointed out that it was obvious that he needed to tend or defer to the employees needs. Johnny proceeded to ignore the suggestion of the customer. Took a look at the employee and said…customers’ come first. He can wait. My feeling was the customer felt put off by the comment and pivoted from the conversation altogether. Will someone take Johnny aside and teach him how to be professional maybe he needs to be reminded.
