They will overcharge your credit card. Will not cancel your account except by in person. I am living in a different state so I literally had to cancel my credit card to stop them.

I canceled my membership in 2020. They recently have begun charging me again. AVOID at all costs-- there is no way to cancel, and the attorney general of Massachusetts has multiple lawsuits against them.

I have complained and also contacted various people about the state of their stationary bicycles. Emails never returned. Of their nine upright bicycles, EIGHT are not working properly. The six Matrix bikes are not hooked up correctly and thus are “self- powered.” (This has been going on for a year or more.) Meaning you have to pedal like mad for about 2-3 minutes, then a screen appears, but the “Levels” don’t work like they would if machines were powered. There is basically only one speed. Hard. Hardly anyone uses them. Today, only one out of the three Life Fitness bikes work. “Out-of-Order” signs on two. This is pathetic. Giving it 2 stars only because the staff is nice, but frankly, the corporation only cares about their weight training clientele. I rely on the bike for rehab and aerobics. PLEASE FIX THESE EIGHT BIKES.

Decent gym, however hours are terrible. Seems like every time I'm ready to go to the gym for the afternoon/night they're closed. Really wish they would extend their hours.

This BSC is smaller than most BSCs I have ever been to. Yet the membership rate is the same as others. Apart from the infrastructure, everything else is great. The staff is friendly and supportive. If you can go to the gym in the morning or afternoon, this is the gym you should go to.

This summer I signed up for a 1 day free pass, used it and never went back. 3 months later I am just seeing I've been getting charged $35/mo since. Nothing against the employees in the gym, but BSC is the most suspect and fraudulent company I've ever dealt with. I used to be a member at their Lynnfield location, which they closed permanently during Covid. So, I figured I wasn't getting billed. Oh boy, I was wrong. They started charging me under a different name, which I realized about 5 months later. When I realized and called BSC Corporate, I was told I needed to cancel my membership in person, which, as I mentioned previously, was impossible since the gym was no longer in business. All in all, BSC owes me somewhere between $250-300. I thought I was through the horrible pains of dealing with this corporate conglomerate mess of an establishment, but apparently I'm not. I can't wait to talk to some robot of a human and try to figure this out again. Thanks a lot BSC. And P.S. I've never left a review online before. BSC clearly holds a special place in my heart. Their gyms are pretty nasty too.

The equipment was set up in a very practical and well thought out way. The facility was also clean and there was a wide variety of equipment, I was rarely unable to do an exercise due to a lack of the right equipment. When it came time to cancel (I moved) the process was very straightforward and I had no issues there.

I went to Boston Sports Club in Davis Square today to use the weight room and sauna. The weight room was too packed to reasonably get a work out in, which is pretty typical given the small size of the gym.As I entered the sauna, I noticed an individual sitting in an unusual position with his legs in the air on the bench. When I looked back at him a second time, I noticed that he was convulsing and touching himself inappropriately. Clearly what happened here is that this intoxicated individual gained entrance to the gym because no staff members were present at the front desk. I would not recommend BSC in Davis Square to anyone and I have been a BSC member for multiple years.

I specifically joined this club because of the no cell phone policy. However, cell phone usage by inconsiderate and rude members has been an on-going problem. I have complained many times to the front desk staff and to managers. Front desk staff are usually reluctant to enforce the no cell phone rule. The manager Jacob Letizia never answers my emails. This club is not worth the significant additional premium versus other clubs and I have cancelled my membership due to ever increasing cell phone usage and managements lack of concern for their member's concerns.

Want to give an updated review of this gym since my last one star review in January. I came back saw the gym and met the new managment. This gym is still very low quality, overly crowded with the type of people that don't rerack weights, hidden fees, and the moment you walk in the door you feel like you need a showerI canceled promptly and they kept a $99 annual fee non refundable they charged after 2 weeks of membership
