great gym for the price only 20$ a month can't beat that. it's not to busy if you go early enough in the morning. They have nice equipment that is well maintained.. having the training beds, massage chairs, and locker room is a nice perk for only 20 a month.

I had a great experience with planet fitness as a member, but now that I am trying to cancel my membership I am having issues. I tried to cancel in April at my one year mark and was told I needed to wait til May. Now that it's May, they have taken out the yearly fee when I wanted to cancel anyway. The manager refused to refund my money and will not give me contact info for the franchisee to make it right. All he says is that the contract states that you need to cancel seven days before the payment. I am beyond frustrated and I can't see why I would still need to pay a yearly fee for a membership I no longer have. That is not good business.

The staff is friendly and always greets you at the door. They have lots of different sections to guide you in your workouts for whatever suites your style. The black card membership is an incredible deal, and you can't find a better price on gym memberships for the basic card. Down one star due to not getting a tour on arrival with my online registration.

Great gym, great price! They have nice equipment and plenty of machines. There's also cool sections/rooms for specific things like stretching and 30 minute express. The whole facility is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. They also have other little things that make the membership more valuable like trainers, classes, bagel days, and I took advantage of trying Audible free for 2 months and a $10 Amazon gift card(which is equivalent to the yearly membership fee).

If it were possible to give a zero I would. We had an account with planet fitness and cancelled because we moved. They didn’t end up canceling our account properly and they continued to charge our account. Because we moved we didn’t have instant access to our cancellation receipt and they told us there was nothing they could do other than cancel our account for a second time. I should also note we never received an apology for the inconvenience they caused us by not cancelling it properly. So we cancelled the account for a second time and had to pay for the months we didn’t use the account because we thought it was already cancelled. We finally found the original cancellation document and I called to see if I could scan or fax it to them and they told me I had to bring it in in person or send it certified mail. I was so frustrated to have to put any more time and energy into their mistake and again I received no apology for their inconvenience. At one point they made it seem like it was my fault for not noticing the charges on my account after I first tried to cancel. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Definitely will not recommend them to anyone.

Clean and cheap. No pool. No hot tub. No kettle bells. Staff is awesome but the whole "no judgment zone" gets ridiculous with the pizza night and bagel mornings. It's almost like they're trying to keep you fat so that you never get better and always need them, lol. This is why I call them "planet fatness". On the other hand, the price is right and that goes far with me. ;)

The staff is friendly and they genuinely care about you and your goals. No one judges you no matter how big or small you are and what you're trying to achieve. I love the unlimited guest pass with the black card and the massage benefits as well! The hydro massage beds are life!

Do not sign up here unless you could care less about customer service and money. Worst management ever. Basically does not exist. We had a situation where my wife was injured and could not use her membership any longer after signing up only 4 weeks prior. After being charged an annual fee, two monthly fees and a cancel charge it was a complete waste of time and money. She was only able to use the gym twice. When asked to speak with a manager about getting some kind of break of any kind on 5 different occasions and told he will call you back we finally called customer care. We were told again someone would call us back and each time reminded of no chance of getting out of the cancel fee or annual charge after just one month. They said it was a waste of time to try. In other words they said they really don't care about their members no matter the circumstance if you tried to cancel. Don't be fooled by their so called no obligation promotions and read the fine print. Don't waste your time here and don't plan on getting to speak with a manager about anything unless you want to pay them money. Then I am sure the great and powerful OZ will pop out from behind the desk. Still no call back from the manager or anyone else. Read a few other reviews with the same issues. Go to MUV fitness. Just slightly higher price but no hidden fees and no deception. They take care of their members and are obviously more in tune to customer service. I guess we should have read reviews before signing up. Jeez Planet Fitness, I hope your extra 60 bucks was worth it I wonder how many people will read this and think twice.

I just signed up for $21.99 per month, I was so excited because I could take my mom with me to enjoy exercise. Today it was the first time we went, but it was an awful experience. After we finished our exercise, I wanted my mom to get some relax, so I went to sign for massage hair and Hydro massage bed. However I was told only the member can use them, guest my mom couldn't, I was so upset. And then, I was shock!!!! One employee name SARAH said if she saw my mom use the massage equipment, she would DRAG HER OUT. Unbelievable I heard that. I think she has racial discrimination to our Asian people. What kind of customer service did we get? SARAH is a ridiculous RUDE employee I ever met. I promised I was told that my guest can use all equipment include the massage chair when I signed up the membership. I really feel uncomfortable going there anymore, I think I have to cancel the membership. Please read the contract detail carefully before you sign up. They hide some rules!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this gym. Absolutely no pressure from the employees to upgrade or buy stuff. I really like the 30 minute circuit, it really helps since I don't really know what I'm doing. There's tons of cardio machines and a decent amount of weight machines. Plus the walls are covered in non- cheesy motivational sayings. Locker rooms are nicely kept too. I do wish they had a scale and a large digital clock, but those are my only complaints.
