I enjoy the valley gym! The staff are great here along with the equipment. Everything is set up for you to have success with your fitness goals. From the second you walk in the front desk is greeting you and making you feel welcome along with answering any questions you may have about the gym! The trainer is always there to help as well. They are knowledgeable and help with any of the equipment you may have trouble with or do not know how to use. If you’re serious about working on your fitness goals and like a judge free Environment, this is the best place to go. They have the best equipment and the best staff day or night

They say the cheapest price in town. I've been with this gym for about 3 months and I have the black card membership (20$ a month). Twice within a month they've taken money from my account that wasn't related to the monthly fee and within 23 days they've taken 120 from my account and put me at a negative balance both times. Im cancelling my membership and I will never be back.

Are the people working the desk there to help you or there to be annoyed if you need something? I went in with a friend and didn't have a membership, When I asked about things the counter girl was short with me and when I had been told by a staff member earlier in the day I could come in with my friend and try the water massage bed she said I couldn't. Huh? I was told earlier today I could try it out? She then sharply asks if I was thinking about becoming a member "well are you thinking about becoming a member or not" I replied: well that's why I am here.. She gave me the free test or whatever on the bed. Let me tell you that if your expecting a lot from the massage beds be prepared to be disappointed I thought it was a 360 water massage nope just a thing you lay on and it shoots water at your back. While its an alright attempt at an included massage setup I suppose.. Its not the same as the ones you lay face down and water jets are setup above and below the bed. These are just a tough rubber bed that you lay on face up and it shoots water at the bed. I was on the fence with this gym mostly because they don't have free weight bars, which are great for training doing dead lifts. I could kinda modify workouts to achieve most of what I wanted but its difficult to get stabilizer muscles done without other free weights. Between the lack of weights and the random staff that thinks you are a problem, not a person they want to help I don't know if this is a good fit.

As far as gyms go, I love this one. The staff isn't pushy, and 90% of the other patrons are just there to work out. As always, there's those that don't clean the machines after they use them, but I've honestly seen far fewer that don't than that do. Which is nice. I've only tried one class, and that was last year, but the trainer was nice. I've heard the new one is tough, but good.I like the pricing set up, as it's less 'GIVE UP YOUR MONEY!' and more 'We want you to use the space.'24 hours is always nice, in case you feel up to a midnight visit.The gym always feels clean, although I haven't checked the mens rooms, for obvious reasons.

Great Planet Fitness. Large, tons of space, tons of machines, classes, and pretty nice staff. However, the entire building reeks like urine.

The Planet Fitness concept is awesome and the equipment/amenities are legitimate. I did however have a very disheartening experience. I tried to approach the manager about the lack of congeniality of one of the front desk members, he was not only curt with me but told me that if I did not like it, to go to another gym. Wow! This was the main manager. I urge you to be a conscientious consumer. I decided to go to another gym and now I am happy. I will not mention which gym that I currently go to in order for this review to be as objective as possible, but I had a very sour experience with Planet Fitness in Spokane Valley, Washington.

Next month will mark one year I have been going to planet fitness. It is a great gym, clean , friendly staff and the personal trainer Zeke is amazing. I have been consistently attending his classes and have been building muscle I have never seen before! He is great with patience and helping motivate people of all levels of fitness. One of the staff members, Micha is always happy, smiling and helpful. I am really happy that I joined this gym.

I do like this gym, just started going. The only thing i would have a complaint about is being a new member I asked to be showed around and the person just said "you can see everything we have here, it s pretty self explanatory." I think for first time members someone should walk the person around and explain all the different things they offer because they have amazing things there; like their hydro massage, and tanning and their separate work out rooms.

I love working out here. I don't feel judged and I can do my own thing. I would be happy to give more stars if the customer service was better. I tried to make a payment over the phone and was told I could but I would have to call back because my account was "in limbo". When I called back the guy who answered said that I couldn't do it over the phone, I asked to speak with someone else and they said "not everyone knows how to process a phone payment." He processed my payment at the end of the call. Today I went in and I was not greeted. The lady at the desk seemed too busy on the computer to say hi. She looked up, no smile, nothing. She turned the card scanner and went back to her business. I never got the promised tour of the gym and I'm still navigating my way around.Bump up the customer service skills and I will bump up the stars.

Love this gym. Been working out casually for years and I finally have gotten excited about working out. I love the diversity, lots of different types of people there, everyone is friendly. I got the black membership with tanning, massage chairs, and I can bring a guest to workout with me every time I'm in. They are more than happy to help if you ask for assistance. The 30 minute workout room is an amazing idea. If you are just starting your fitness routine, take advantage of the people who work there and have them show you form and how to use the machines, or just ask the other people working out. Most are more than happy to share their knowledge.
