I tried cancelling with this gym, at first I called. They do not have a way to cancel over the phone or online. I made a special trip down there just cancel. Or so I thought, i got through the cancellation process just fine I left with a piece of paper that said I cancelled. This was July 28th I didn't notice that I was still getting charged until January.I went in to fix it. They had no record of me cancelling. They had the last sign in date, July 28th. I no longer had the cancellation paperwork. They offered me 3 months reimbursement and said it was my responsibility to cancel. I then told them that it was their responsibility to actually cancel it when I asked them to. So they lied to me about cancelling it. In this time I thought I couldn't use the gym equipment. And they won't refund all of the money they wrongfully charged me. They said it was my fault for not noticing the charges on my account.

Giving this a 2. Love the place love the equipment. However I don't like the fact that you can only make your payment through a "local" bank. I made a payment with a preloaded card while I tried to get a bank account together and they refused it. Which in turn gave me a late fee. I think it's wrong when any company refuses any type of payment. As long as it's being paid that should be what matters!

Basic equipment, basic facility. Nothing special, " hints" why the pricing is so low. And BEWARE.. you can only cancel your membership at THAT gym you opened one up at. Can't even do it .... if you've transferred your home branch to a new one... you still have to go to that original branch. Horrible policy! For that alone I cancelled my membership🤷‍♀️

I've always had a good experience with Planet Fitness in other areas. They are always very clean, super cheap and open 24/7. This one is no exception, however the customer service is lacking. They aren't nearly as friendly at this location. That being said, it is still a great starter gym if you don't need a lot of free-weight options.

Awesome place to work out. The employees are always friendly and doing their best to keep the gym clean! The prices are right, and they are always upfront about every fee so make sure you listen!

Black card is the way to go! For $21 a month you get access to all the gyms (and they are everywhere!) as well as unlimited tanning, massage chairs, hydro stuff, group x, and basic personal training. Very well maintained, clean, and modern facilities and equipment.

I love that Planet Fitness gym for so many reasons because they have a lot of quipment you don't usually have to wait in line. You can get a shower it's always clean. The people are friendly. There's only one downfall you barely have any where I live I don't have one so I have to go about 20 miles to get to one and that's my only regret. You need more planet fitnesses in this area.

Tried to cancel my membership. Still got charged. Said I need to cancel a week in advanced. I haven’t even used the gym in 3 months and they just take your money. Do not recommend planet fitness to anyone! Go elsewhere for a good workout!

As far as the facility itself is concerned, its great. You get a lot of benefits for the price you pay. However, I was lied to join sign up, and when I tried to clear it up staff was extremely rude and did not care. The GM should be out of a job for the way he spoke to me. I now have had to go as far as getting a new bank account because they have comtinued to charge me even though I have told them to take my banking info off file and cancel my account which they also refuse to do. I have requested several times to have someone in upper managment contact me which no one has. I am severely disappointed in the way I have been treated and I am more than happy to take my money to a real business that deserves it

Great place for cardio. Clean and plenty of cardio equipment. The equipment is in very good shape. The staff is friendly, not pushy to sign you up and helpful with any requests. For $20 per month you also get unlimited tanning and are able to use any other Planet Fitness in the nation. You can also bring a guest with you for free.
