I was nervous to get started into yoga unsure about the poses/terms and being able to keep up in class. I decided to start with private lessons with Carrington and I’m glad I did! The confidence I gained was so meaningful.

SunState has been my go-to spot to reconnect with myself for over a year now. I was a little hesitant to get involved with a yoga studio because I am a bit older than most that practice in a studio. However, the energy here at SunState is welcoming and inclusive. I wish there were a few more people my age that went but it truly is about my time on my mat. Letting goooooo.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Power Yoga class with Brice. I'm also a certified yoga instructor and am always looking to attend other classes to grow as a teacher and deepen my own practice. Brice's class was well constructed, logical, and flowed nicely. I appreciated how engaged he was with his students and challenged them appropriately while honoring their individual edge. The studio itself is clean, nicely decorated, and has a great vibe to it. I also received a personal message from the studio owner afterwards, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be returning!

Was super excited to try SunState Yoga as I recently moved to St.Pete and based on their reviews and Instagram I thought it was, with no doubt, going to be my place for hot yoga. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed and feel as though I wasted my money. I outlined pros and cons below, which I hope give real insight into this practice.Pros:- Schedule availability and variety- Parking for customers- Cubbies in lobby- Blocks to use at no cost- People seemed to be welcoming/niceCons:- The cold lavender towels given during Savasana are also used by students to clean their dirty mats after class. I found this highly unsanitary.- Only one teaching room which is small and very hard to get a good spot in.- Classes will depict all levels but please be aware that teachers do not practice with you, and only verbally instruct.- If you are new/want a space in the back it is recommended that you show up early. (This really wouldn't be needed if they had teachers guiding classes that are labeled intro. Maybe I am picky here, but I have been to many studios and this is the first time having this experience).- Personally, I did not like how bright the room was and how close all the of us were to each other.- We showed up early for our first class and we were still in the front. We checked in when we arrived and no kind of introduction or overview was given on what to expect at their practice.Overall, seems like a group of good people but is not a place that I would recommend to my friends as I do not feel it meets my standards. I recommend asking if you can pay for one class and then sign up for the intro special to ensure you enjoy the practice first.

Absolutely love this studio! Everyone is super nice and welcoming and the classes are really great! The hot power classes are my fav! It's a smaller studio so it's way less intimidating and I feel like I can really focus on my practice here! Carrington the owner is great, Brittney W, Andrew, and Krysten are super awesome! Defo recommend giving this studio a try they even have a 30-day unlimited class intro special!

I did the one month package at SunState Yoga (there is a special deal online) and had a great experience. I am a weightlifter and was looking for a yoga studio that had class times that would fit my work/workout schedule. This studio has specific classes geared toward athletes which are great. I went to every type of class and benefited from each. The room is warm and it's a clean and comfortable environment. You can rent a mat if you need to and there are blocks available. There are enough class times to find a time to fit with a busy schedule. I would consider myself a beginner and the instructors were very welcoming as were the other people in class. Highly recommend this place :)

Most wonderful yoga studio! They are the coolest people everyone is kind and inviting. Carrington is amazing she literally greets me at the front desk by name and I’ve only taken two of her classes! I’ve also had classes with Kristen, Melissa, Brice and Andrew who were all awesome as well! Really love this place.
