First time ever at CrossFit and this place is so awesome! The entire team was so welcoming and motivating! Can’t wait to come back tomorrow!

Not a real CrossFit more like a dirty place to do yoga. If you don't fit their "mold" you will be kicked out at the earliest opportunity.A funny story about this place....My big, clumsy, awkward twin teenage boys joined mid-February. I could tell they didn’t like it as much as CFMF (their old crossfit gym) where the coaches, just like most crossfit coaches, resemble drill sergeants. When it comes to big, clumsy, awkward teenage boys trying to get into shape, crossfit instructors are just right for the job. Which is why I don't mind spending nearly $300 a month for them to attend.Anyway, I could see a little resistance/reluctance starting to build up in them. Now granted, they are teenage boys and don’t get excited about anything but video games, food, sports and girls. So, just 2 and a half months into it, in an instance of acting out, one of the boys took a sports drink and didn’t pay for it. Not that he didn’t have money, he does have a part time job and not only that, but, the gym is great about charging the account for any drinks or supplements they have available. It was more of a personal disrespect of his coach and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!He took the drink and the coach watched him take it. That’s right, he watched him take it. However, instead of asking the boy “are you going to pay cash for that or do you want to put it on your account?” This coach got into his car and drove straight to my house, knocked on my door and told on him. Now, all disparaging remarks aside, I really did appreciate that he notified me of my sons bad behavior. It helps me, as a parent, to see there is a heart problem that needs to be addressed. My son was wrong, and as most parents would do, I corrected him and the problem and my son ended up writing an apology and paying $5 for a $3 drink, as voluntary restitution. As he stood there at the door and told me all about my sons grand larceny, I sincerely thanked him and assured him I would deal with my son. He then said, “they are not welcome to come back, their contract is terminated.”Now I’m not an amazing business man, by any means, but, I know that a teenager’s $3 indiscretion is not a good reason to terminate a $3300/yr contract. I mean yes, he made a mistake, but, not an unforgivable mistake. There had to be more to the story, I replied “oh, okay……. why?” He said, “welllllllll, they are not very compliant.” When asked to explain, he stated they didn’t always fully participate and were sometimes disruptive during the class. I then asked “this is a CrossFit, right?”So, these people are either fat-shamers or they don’t like teenagers or are prejudice or maybe they just can’t motivate people like drill sergeants, I don’t know. Whatever the reason, they couldn’t just be honest with me and had to wait for an opportunity to kick the boys out.So, If you never complain about anything, don’t need to be motivated by a personal trainer or a coach and are always super excited for a mildly tough workout, then these people will be great for you and they will be glad to take your money. However, if you live in the real world, where you need to motivated by a Drill Instructor just to get out of bed and get dressed (like most teenage boys), then this Barbie gym is probably not for you. They really should take all references of “CrossFit” out of their name and gym, it’s false advertising.Anyway, I’m glad we found out how they were before we spent more money there. I just wish they would have let me know a month or two ago that they were not equipped to handle teenagers instead of waiting until things progressed for the worst. Just another teachable moment I guess.

Joined the RGTC family over 2 months ago. I am so happy I decided to try crossfit and SUPER HAPPY about choosing this box. Can't think of a better place to excersice meet new health oriented people and feel at home!

I started at RGTC when it was previously owned by Stan and at a different location. I loved it and the coaches were awesome and accommodating. The box was bought out by Jose and at first I wasn’t sure how I liked the change. I followed them to the new location, where there are currently at. Which I had previously been a member of the current locations previous owner Crossfit backwoods so I knew the location and was convinient. I liked some of the coaches and Jose was nice at first but I didn’t feel as close to people like before. All the old coaches had left and I was getting used to all the new.I came on hard times and had a family emergency where I had to take care of a sick family member and needed to take a month off. I took Jose aside and explained how I would be back I just needed to take a month off. Granted I had been doing Crossfit for 2 years so it wasn’t like I was quitting. He said if you choose to take a month off you will lose your “grandfathered” price that you pay (from the previous ownership) and will increase your monthly dues by $25. Now why would someone do that to someone who had been so dedicated to their program and going through such a rough time. He was cold and had absolutely no sympathy. He said that’s how business goes and if I didn’t like it I could find somewhere else to go or pay the new price.I miss the people I worked out with and wish things didn’t go down like that but I can’t believe someone would pretend to be nice to everyone just to be so cold behind closed doors. No loyalty to longstanding customers. To top it all off they tried to call me months later to see if I wanted to come back. I asked if I could come back paying the price I originally paid for 2 years they said no and that the prices had gone up again. I couldn’t afford it then either so I declined. I absolutely loved Crossfit in general but I havnt been back. Really sad they didn’t seem to care about me or my business.

CrossFit RGTC is an amazing place to reach fitness goals. Coaches are amazing, very knowledgable and always pushing you to do your best. The atmosphere is very familiar, it becomes a place where as soon as you walk in all your worries go away and you just focus on yourself. Highly recommended. Coming from someone who would do hours of cardio and never see the results wanted, RGTC is the perfect combination.

I have been active my entire life and was inspired to try CrossFit after seeing a friend perform in a CrossFit competition. I was extremely intimidated to try CrossFit- it looked dangerous and hard, but gave it a shot. Its been a little over two months since I've joined the RGTC family (I call it that because you really do join a supportive community that feels like family) and my ONLY regret is that I didn't join sooner. Yes box jumps, dead lifts and wall balls are hard but the beautiful thing about this type of workout is that you consistently get stronger, faster and better. In my first six weeks I lost 10 pounds and 4% body fat thanks to the workouts and the nutrition program they offer. This gym is run by professional, knowledgable and kind people who have a passion for healthy living. I've felt safe and supported during every workout and each coach takes the time to answer questions and explain things. I highly recommend this CrossFit for anyone looking to get in shape and have a great time.

Absolutely love RGTC! I actually went to a few other Crossfit boxes in my area to compare and by far RGTC was the place that made me feel most comfortable and part of the group. Everyone there was very welcoming. The coaches take the time to ensure you are doing the movements correctly and are very knowledgeable. Can't say enough about them just you won't be disappointed if you go visit!

The people here are at all different levels of fitness, so I felt welcome from my Day 1. CrossFit RGTC got me into the best shape of my life! They have knowledgable coaches, a supportive community, and the facility is fantastic. Thanks RGTC!
