At the north Syracuse location specifically the manager there is really disrespectful and arrogant. As for planet fitness it’s self as a company they do not care about there customers and only care about taking your money. I highly recommend going to any other workout place.

Excellent place for what it is. Not for a heavy body builder, but if you want to lose weight and get toned, tanned and relaxthis is a budget friendly atmosphere for all of that. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I'd give you ZERO STARS but it won't allow that. Don't bother signing up for PF, ever. They run their gyms like they're official doctors. My doctor specifically gave me RX note for a special face mask because of my breathing condition. Planet Fitness said its not valid. So PF staff are certified doctors now. The male staff is downright rude. Membership canceled. As well as others I know. This place is a joke.

Arrived at 7:00 a.m along with approximately 15 other cars. Not opened, no employees here. It’s now approx 7:15, not sure if and when they are going to open. Tried calling, no one answered. If a business states hours open at 7:00, they should have employees here. I understand things happen, but there should be more than one person opening a business like this. Where are they??!!

Stopped in today to ask a few questions. The staff at the counter were very knowledgeable. The staff answered all my questions and explained in depth the difference between the membership options. I'm definitely going to join

Staff was rude. I was to made as if I was doing something wrong by coming to their location to purchase some drinks. (My gym does not carry the brand I was looking for.) I am not sure of her name the the girl with long dark brown hair made me feel like I was a criminal as I was using my membership, I pay for to to purchase items I am entitled to buy. I travel between three planet fitness locations, Oswego, Camillus and north Syracuse... I will never go to this location again.

Absolutely horrible place. They just care about money, not customer service. Before pandemic when I was 5 months pregnant, I went in to cancel my membership cause I knew I wasn’t gonna use the gym. They told me they would have to charge $60 to cancel it, so I let it be. They also charged me one time when they were CLOSED during pandemic. Now they just charged me annual $39 and $6 monthly fee. I haven’t been using it since I was pregnant and don’t feel comfortable going in now when I have a little one at home. When I called and ask to talk to billing dept to get the refund, front desk guy who is very rude told me “we don’t refund”. Cancelling membership now.

The new equipment they keep rotating is amazing, planet fitness has the best cardio equipment in the business in my opinion. The people at the desk are helpful and professional. I have been with planet fitness since they came into the area and they never disappoint me.

Cancled!. Rules and regulations changed based on who is working. The employees are so snooty and rude (to say it nicely), and are completely unhelpful. Machines were clean but Bathrooms and tanning rooms NOT. Always found machines out of order and they dont get fixed for long periods of time, just signs taped to them for weeks at a time. Mask policy is different depending on who you ask, one employee (muscley blonde dude) makes you take your store bought mask off and put on a medical one he provides you at the door. The others dont do that. 12 of my family and friends have cancled in the last 3 months due to the bad experiences they have had at this location, including my trainer. Membership cancled. Cant imagine it going to get better soon so I will find a better gym.

I got to this gym six days a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful there. They greet you with a smile and say goodbye when you leave. Overall a great experience! I don't go to any other club!
