This company wants to make it impossible to talk to someone who can help. They constantly pawn off the responsibility to the next person. They quote the contract so they don't actually have to help you. You run around trying to get answers from ANYONE and you get so angry you end up giving up (seems to be their goal). This is horrible customer service. After reading these reviews I am not alone.

I regularly travel between Syracuse, Utica, and Watertown, and have been to the Planet Fitness locations in all three cities. Of them all, this one is perhaps the one I attend most frequently. In addition to the convenient location near the interstate, this location is rarely too crowded. The patrons and staff seem equally attentive to keeping things clean, and the equipment is generally adequate and in good condition.

There has been a hand grip on the power rowing machine that is broken and causing pain when using the machine properly. I have reported it 3x a week for over 4 months and keep getting told maintenance will fix, I’m still waiting. Appears that North Syracuse facility is not important enough for maintenance to visit. I have placed my account on hold until it gets fixed and in the mean time I will be checking out another facility as the response that maintenance is coming is simply not sufficient.Update: 17 July 2019. Still not fixed, told that maintenance sets priority and guess my request is not a priority. Unacceptable and frustrating. Corporate told me weeks ago would get fixed.

I’ve been a Black Card member for over a year now. I went in to downgrade my account to a lower price tier due to financial reasons only to be told that I would have to pay a $49-$59 fee to do so! Absolutely ridiculous. Safe to say my PF membership has been terminated. 😇 …

So before signing up I read the reviews about the charges people are getting and I went in to check out the establishment and I asked a ton of questions because my biggest concern was getting the BS charges. I sign up, I'm not even signed up for a month and I get a $15 late fee. I called to inquire twice, the girl failed to tell me that the manager wouldn't be in that evening after I told her I'd be stopping in. I go there the managers not there one young lady is very helpful and told me when the manager would be. I went in to speak with him he told me I put in my account number wrong when I signed up online, now if when I put in my account number if it didn't pull up all of my account information I understand that, however when I put in my account numbers in it pulled up all of my accurate account information. The manager was unreasonable with understanding that, so I cancelled. I'm very disgusted and disappointed with the fact that this is okay for them to do.

Got crowded quickly due to low cost. But cost isn't everything if you are serious about exercise. Too dark. Purple wouldn't have been my choice, but it's the company color. Too few flat benches. If you have a choice of your work out time you may be able to go during a less crowded time. Plenty of dumbbells and a great 30minute workout area. Tanning and massage beds make it a good value.

I love this place and enjoy the environment. No one interferes with your workout and there are many machines to use. I love the updates and the new massage hydro beds. This is the best place to get into shape when you want to work out because it's open 24hrs.
