My daughter and I had a membership with planet fitness north Syracuse before the pandemic. While they were closed down I decided that I would cancel our membership because when they re-opened we would not be ready to go back to the gym. I tried multiple times to contact them by phone and email, but was unable to contact anybody. Per the website I wrote a letter stating that we would be canceling our membership and we signed it and sent it to North Syracuse. When they open back up I got a bill, I called and they said they only canceled one membership but they would cancel the other account. Then I got another bill and another bill and I called again and they said they had to find the letter. They finally found the letter and said yes it should have been canceled and they would send corporate a request for a refund said it would take 7 to 8 weeks. I have called at seven weeks and eight weeks and planet fitness said they do not have a number to corporate and they can’t do anything about my refund they just have to wait. Now it’s been almost 12 weeks and there’s still nobody to call or talk to, management does not call me back and they will not give me a number to corporate.This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating.

If you live in the North Syracuse area this is one of your best choices to work out. It's affordable and offers numerous services. The gym is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Love coming here to burn off stress after a long day of selling houses.

Been a member for a couple months now the gym I belonged to in Destiny mall just closed up so I went to every club in area and chose PF because they have every thing I needed nice updated equipment,machines and free weights, plenty of it …

1. wifi is a joke2. if you are older than 30 and don't have a beach body then good luck finding someone who actually wants to help you with the weights.3. a lot of the machines the few times I was there were broken.4. when you go in person to see what your choices are to cancel your membership since you aren't able to work out anymore due to health issues nobody really wants to help you.5.The 39.00 maintenance fee taken out on January 1st (for the year 2020)is not refunded even if you cancel on January 2nd.6.very small, everything is too close together.

Machines are always broken or have warn down padding. Some equipment needs a second one to use as they are popular. No room to use floor mats. Broken toilet seats. This location has outgrown its space. Always has a leaking ceiling. Time to find a bigger more improved location in the area.

I try to go to the gym every day and this place is really good. Everyone is so nice here. Makes you fell as comfortable as possible. Want a good work out check them out. There open 24/7 so any time can be work out time.

Everything needed for beginners to advanced. Great program perks like tanning available. Been here for over a year now. Need to fix the water fountains. They only have warm water... awful when you're sweating and hoping for a cold drink of water

Only reason gave it a 2 is because this is where I started my fitness journey. Since new ownership, maintenance has went downhill. Also the water fountain has been pouring out piss warm water for months, management knows bout it and still wont fix it. Literally probably just a few hundred dollars to fix

Great equipment and easy to use. Only complaint would be is it is far to cold in there. The purpose on me going to the gym is to workout and sweat. But it is very hard to do break a sweat there. The fans make it far to cold in my opinion. Other than that it is perfect

I used to love this planet fitness location but lately the bathrooms have been so dirty and a majority of the equipment is broken and HAVE NOT been fixed for over a month now. Every time you walk into the gym, you see a new face behind the counter and the look on their face always says “don’t bother me”.
