I’ve been coming here for five years and have had great experiences up until this year. Beware of the extremely rude fitness manager KEN. I don’t know how they have this man call himself a manager when he doesn’t even know how to approach members respectfully. He was rude and very confrontational.

I just have to say that Kathleen at the front desk was excellent in her customer service to me. She signed me up with a new membership with 5 minutes of me walking in to renew. Her knowledge of my insurance company b.s. was unmatched. She is a badass woman. Great hire. Keep up the great work and love your pool.

When I joined a club, I gave it 5 stars because the pool was clean, staff was very friendly, shower room was also clean.I am a senior citizen intermediate swimmer who does 45 minutes to 1 hour lap swimming every 2 to 3 days a week.I am now giving 2 stars, and the reasons I stated are below.(1) Seeing too many (I would say, maybe about 70%) people DID NOT SHOWER before into water. After the sauna, you know that you have detoxed so all sweats (it's smelly and dirty) need to be washed away before into water. It's common sense!(2) I saw middle age to senior age Asian women coming in the morning into pool facility, with mask and cap or plastic bag on head, wearing regular clothes and never taking shower before into hot tub. Yikes! Dirty as hell!Nobody tells them it's not a sanitary way to other people. These women are talking in their language very loudly in the hot tub, and they're wearing a mask, but they put it down on their chin when they're talking loudly. I'm not a mask lover at all, lol.(3) Why do people still wear dirty outside shoes to step into a pool facility to use a sauna, hot tub or pool? No wonder, I see so many sands and dirt inside the pool and hot tub.Remember, your facility was way better before. But sorry not anymore if you don't change this.I am going to make a letter and send it to the HQ soon to them to check it out about this issue. Thanks.

Great gym, clean, great staff, but I don’t know how many times I have to complain about the mens locker room. They have 4 TV’s AND music going, ALL LOUD in there, literally the least relaxing part of this gym. I get anxiety just thinking about being in there and sensory overload while I’m actually in there. Put on the music or one TV at a time. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

This place DEFINITELY needs a security guard to watch the parking lot. I’m seeing more and more glass in the parking lot from broken car windows. Not to mention my wife’s car window was broken as well. She was provided a video from someone that witnessed the crime. Even after she shared it with the police that took the report there was no follow up and windows continue to be broken. Now locks are starting to be cut off personal lockers and cars are being stolen. Use extreme caution when attending this facility. They don’t care about their customers well-being. They only care about your monthly dues.

I just got my membership back here and I mainly come to 24 hour fitness because they have a steam room. But! There is mold all around the door moldy kick boards from the pool are just chillin' in the steam room. Weights from the outer floor rusty chillin in there. And for whatever reason they only clean the steam room once a week... But there is mold grime old water bottles and people told me they been coming here for months and some of the stuff been in there just as long. Health hazard. Wouldn't recommend. I don't know who's idea it was to clean a steam room once a week... But I'd avoid it.

Great gym with lots of equipment for every person, full sized pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cooled cycle room, basketball court, and more. Back to being open 24 hours a day, too! I know the building usually gets cleaned about twice a day by a cleaning staff, as well. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because of some cleanliness issues. Lots of people don't clean off the equipment when they're done using it, staff doesn't ever clean it and honestly, that should be enforced or staff should pick up the slack. Additionally, used the jacuzzi within 24 hours of their cleaning day and the bottom of it was still pretty gross---and the jets also don't seem to work after hours. Besides that, a great gym! Just make sure to clean any equipment before you use it.

This would be a 5 star gym if they could get the place cleaned properly. The pool and hot tub constantly have grime built up, the locker rooms have lots of dust and dirt, hairballs, and who knows what else all over the floor, and the gym is maybe the dirtiest basketball court I’ve seen in years. If they cleaned it up consistently this place would be 5 stars, easily!Update 07/02/2022: still not clean. This is in the corner of the basketball court. Bottles of water and cans of energy drinks all over the perimeter the court. This is ignoring the state of the locker rooms, the pool, the hot tub, and the steam room. All have a layer of grime on them despite the three employees congregated at the front desk and the one employee that does laps around the facility with spray bottles in hand but doesn’t actually clean anything. Further news as events warrant.

Very organized and clean gym. Have all the equipment you desire and the hours are accommodated to your needs. If you live in Tacoma there is no reason you shouldn't have a membership.

if you like to play basketball, i would recommend going to LA fitness for some good runs. this gym gets rented out at random hours by personal training and aau practices. also, if you try to schedule around it, you can call the employees to ask when it is available. however, they will purposely give you the wrong time lol happened atleast 5+ times within the past 2 months.
