I called them up to try and figure out why I was charged recently when I had emailed the puyallup gym to cancel my membership when this whole pandemic started. The first guy answered and I was a bit heated but tried to keep my cool because I understand that customers can be rude. So I explained to him the situation and he told me here give me a second. And put me on hold, before this I tried to apologize for sounding harsh I'm just a bit stressed out, for what felt like a couple of minutes. Then the second guy picked up. I explained I was just put on hold and told him the situation. He told me well we just opened and everyone's accounts were just reopened. I explained it again and he told me well they wouldn't of gotten it since they are closed now. I asked well is there anyway I can cancel it over the phone. He told me no there is no way to know who you are but you can go to our website and cancel it. Just scroll to the bottom and you'll see it. If you dont understand that, well its pretty explanatory. And started talking more. I have no clue how they deal with customer service but that is not it. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I’m a physically disabled young adult who went here last year but cancelled my membership when they closed due to Covid-19. I had a friend who signed up under my account and it was never made clear that cancelling my membership would not also cancel theirs. When they re-opened all they did was send one email, not even a call to notify about the re-opening. I was charged a total of $212.14 for an unused membership and was told it couldn’t be refunded because they sent an email which I didn’t even expect because I thought both accounts were already closed. I had to call my bank just to get my money back. Would not recommend, plus there are many cheaper options who value you as more than just another dollar sign.

I'm picky with gyms, but I really like this one. However, it is 6/11/2021 and we haven't been required to wear masks for the past couple of weeks so long as we're vaccinated; shouldn't that coincide to extending your hours past 9pm and before 5am or hell- even back to 24 hours... as well as opening the sauna- even if you limited it to 1 or 2 people......but not even 1? .. it just doesn't make sense. I know this location may have to listen to Corporate, yet I am unsure. Either way, someone should speak up and tell them this doesn't make any sense.

As a senior it is sometimes difficult to find resources that help keep us in condition in regards to physical health issues. My insurance provider has what is called a silver sneakers plan. 24-Hour fitness is a source that is recommended. This is true. At their establishment I walked in without an appointment was directly introduced to a fellow that gave me a brief but all inclusive tour and then we sat down and established my membership and this was done with the utmost courtesy and concerned to my needs as a person of advanced years. I had a very nice experience and will be going back for my first session on Friday.

Joined because they have the warmest pool. I have lots of health issues and I. The water is the only way I can get any exercise. I am anemic and always cold so pool temp is important to me. The first time I used the pool I was told they would have the maintenance man look at it the next day. The next time I was told the manager was not in and they would tell him. On the third day I called and was told. The pool has 2 thermostats one in the pool area and one in the office. The one in the pool area is broken, the pool is 80° if it feels cold it's because of all the weight I have lost. Seems like a lot of work to avoid turning the pool up where is is supposed to be.

I come here to lift and swim. I love that the sauna and steam room are open now. The only reason it is not getting a full 5 stars is because it's not open 24 hours anymore. The workout schedule is 5 am- 9 pm which sucks. It would be nice if they at least went to 11 pm or 12 am. Since the pandemic I went to this one and the one in Kent and this one was way better. Its more clean and less crowded and the staff are more personable on most days. If this location did not have the amenities that they have though, I would go for a much lower membership rate elsewhere.

I hate that it’s not open 24 hours anymore, but they are still charging me full price smh. The part that bothers me most is them NOT enforcing masks to be worn, even after the mask mandate. I complained twice about people in the sauna with no mask and they did NOTHING! Literally just pretended and walked right past the people. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE WITH STAFF THAT DO NOT FOLLOW RULES AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT PUBLIC SAFETY. The bottles with cleaner are empty most the time. They just hang out on their phones at the front desk instead of making sure the gym is stocked with items in order to keep the machines clean. They are so focused on their phones they don’t even care that people are walking in with no masks. Don’t care they are in the sauna with no mask. DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BESIDES TALKING AMONGST THEMSELVES AND BEING ON THEIR PHONES! Get new staff that actually want to work and do their job properly. Only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because the facility and machines are great. But the staff is a joke

Genuinely caring and helpful staff. I always got a fake vibe from my previous gyms but at this location they seem to really care about your experience and how the business is run. It’s also a very clean location. Plus even when I come during the busiest times, there is almost never a que for equipment :)

My first visit. You have to sign a waiver just to get tour.There is handicap parking, but no handicap entrances.There are many classes for advanced, but none for the beginner.Exercise equipment is fairly close to each other. If you use medical devices you're limited to the equipment on the very end.The pool is nice, however, if you're in a wheelchair you have to have staff come and open the door to get in and out as the handle is 5 feet high. Not sure how to notify staff to open the door when you're done swimming.There is a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, all co-ed.

I love my gym. Ive been a member for 2 years. Never once have I had a bad day in this gym. They have the best customer service team around, its always clean and well maintained. Its my favorite gym in the Puget Sound.
