I love this place! Professor Josh is great. He makes it fun to learn. He is also tough and encouraging. The staff I have met is helpful and makes it easy to just show up and train. As soon as my son is old enough to come in I will get him training as well. I believe this jujitsu has endless benefits and I cannot recommend this enough!

Professor Josh and team at GB Tacoma are the best in Tacoma! Before committing, I tried four other BJJ gyms in Tacoma and found the curriculum and instruction at GB Tacoma to be the most organized and well thought out compared to the other gyms. There are a variety of belts at GB Tacoma and the practices are catered to all levels opposed to higher or lower belts like I found at the other gyms. Come try a class and see for yourself!

I am very new to BJJ. When I started asking around I was suggested to go to Gracie Barra in Fircrest by three different people. Later I learned they were all different belt ranks, one being a black belt. All of them said how welcoming everyone is to new comers and how good of a professor Josh is. I have been coming for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it! Very happy with the staff and the other athletes here at Gracie Barra Fircrest

This is such a friendly gym. Any awkwardness you might feel in the beginning is quickly washed away with help and smiles. My whole family trains under Professor Josh. He is very skilled and very patient in his instruction. If you wondering if you should try this you should.

Great place to train w/ wonderful people. The Main instructor is very patient and always takes time to teach and go over anything you are having trouble with.This is the place to have your child train if you want them to be taught by the best. They have a great group of coaches that assist the head instructor during the children class. Kids get great 1on1 instruction during class and they always keep it fun and disciplined at the same time.The adult classes are a blast, but what really makes it are the great people you train with. Everyone is extremely helpful to new students and I can leave class everyday knowing that I'm learning from the best.A+ establishment.
