Planet Fitness

I do not recommend this location. I canceled my membership back in May, but whoever was working never actually canceled it. This is also not the first time this has happened to me when it comes to Planet Fitness failing to actually cancel a membership. I realized that I had been billed for months and the manager was not helpful. I would avoid Planet Fitness at all costs.

Great staff, clean, if a piece of equipment breaks it is fixed quickly. Excellent gym for the price.

I appreciate how clean this planet fitness is and the staff all seem super friendly. I've stopped at quite a few other planet fitnesses while traveling and only a few compare to the standard of the one in West Tacoma.

We visit many 🪐 fitness across country. This is the only one that has a shower with a space to get dressed at. You don’t have to walk to the other side just to get dressed. But the machine are cool and the employees are good too. …

First time at that location yesterday. The manager made a huge deal because I had my bag with me while working out. He said I needed to put it in a locker,well I don't want my wallet stolen or my car keys so I keep it with me. My bag wasn't out in the middle of the aisle or anything it was right next to me. I have never had a problem at the Puyallup or Bonney lake location. Well Marty Mills you lost a customer.

The staff are helpful, there is always plenty of equipment available to workout on, being open 24 hours is great, the facility is always clean and being a black member offers some great perks. Wish I had joined years ago..

Super clean, lots of social distancing in place..people are courteous about cleaning the machines. You never have to wait long to use the equipment..it isn't real noisy and it is an over all excellent experience...😎😎😎☺️☺️ …

My favorite location, and its so close to my house! The Gym is always so clean, the staff are always friendly. Everyone follows the "mask rules". Its just a fun environment to workout in.

UPDATE: I lied! Never got around to lifting weights. When I reviewed this place a while ago I said I was going to start using the weights soon...never did.I just use the tanning beds and stretching equipment. Still a great place! A lot more people since 2022.OLD REVIEW:The staff is very helpful and supportive!I couldn't even imagine lifting a single weight, let alone tie my own shoes (slip on shoes only please). So when this location opened years ago I signed up. Sure I was going to eat snacks and play Nintendo Switch in the massage chairs. I worked at the Gamestop nextdoor and like I said, I was in horrible shape. After a enough massage I felt good enough to clean around my house and do lite work outs. Baby steps and hard work resulted in me losing a bunch of weigh and getting healthy. So now I can use all the stretching equipment with minimum discomfort. Next month I will try lifting weights.Point is I couldn't have done any of this without the staff and equipment at Planet Fitness. They encouraged me to take my time and do things right. The Black Card is a huge money saver too. I normally would spend at least $100 per month for massages. So I ended up saving at minimum $80 by using the massage equipment here. Also being able to go to all the locations is great.Sign up and enjoy!

I like working out here. I mainly do cardio and they have plenty of equipment and the membership is a good price, especially for someone like me that just wants to put on my headphones and run or climb. The staff are friendly and helpful.
