If you’re looking for a great trainer, a great place to workout where people support and encourage one another, this is a one stop shop! They can also help get your diet in check and help you achieve your goals. I highly recommend Derek and his team at Volition!

April has completely changed my outlook on working out. She has guided me through my journey of becoming more healthy physically and mentally. I struggled with seeing how working out twice a week could fit with my schedule. April has helped me to see that not only could I make it work, but that I needed to. Derek is the best of the best! He keeps his clients motivated and excited to come back to class the next day. Not only has my overall strength improved but my confidence both inside and outside the gym has greatly improved!!!

I knew this was going to be a better gym experience for me as soon as I met April. She is very friendly and welcoming. The knowledge and encouragement she gives always makes me feel great walking in and even better walking out. I’ve been training for almost half a year now and I love that there are early morning sessions and it is walking distance from my house.

Consistent progress and results. This place will deliver. You hear about 90 day challenges to get fit or people who have “programs” to get you ripped in a month…this is not that place. It’s well thought out training week after week while delivering the support inside and outside of the gym to accomplish your goals. Community is the best I’ve been a part of across many gyms over the years and it’s the only place I’ve consistently felt not just the desire, but the need to get back to each day. Trainers are always innovating to keep things fresh while having benchmarks on the staples along the way. Could not recommend this community enough!

Volition is an amazing gym with great coaches! April is so encouraging and has a passion in motivating you to reach for your goals. The semi private sessions April offers really allows you to focus on your form and movement. I know each week walking into this gym I will be pushing to do and be my best.

Volition has everything you could want in a gym experience. It has the machines and weights of a big gym without feeling like just another number. The biggest my group will get with April is four so I know she's always looking out for form and making sure our workouts are what we need. April is the perfect blend of challenge and support. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and why she does it, and I look forward to our time each week.

Derek, Kayla, and April (the Volition team) are the best training team I’ve had in a while! Their programs are very intentional and attainable for all levels of training. I cannot say enough good things about this gym and the trainers! The gym is beautiful and everyone, from the trainers to the clients make you feel so welcome. I have loved my sessions with my personal trainer, April Sorensen. She took the time before we started to go over my goals, teach me about macros and get a baseline of my movements and any injuries/modifications. April is always available outside of session if I have questions and makes 6 AM workouts something I actually look forward to! I love the mixture of functional fitness and strength training. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Derek at Volition for 6 months consistently and without a doubt this is has been my favorite training experience in my adult life. Both my physical and mental transformation have been night and day. Derek pays attention to every detail of the program and is truly thoughtful in his approach to strength building, fat burning, functionality and overall health and wellness. You leave every session feeling like a better version of yourself than when you stepped through the door. The small group training is really great as it’s truly a welcoming, competitive, and encouraging community. I truly look forward to every workout and seeing all the familiar faces that I now consider friends. For some perspective, I drive 40 minutes out of my way, 4 days a week to workout at Volition because I am convinced that everything I do at Volition is far more superior than the convenience of “just getting a workout in” close by. I truly love the Volition way!
