Hopefully Crunch isn’t becoming one of “those” gyms. (The gyms where lack of money or care leads to disrepair) Walk in the front door. One of the two entrance/exit doors is not working. Go to get a massage chair. None are working. Nbd. Go to get a tan. Tanning room #2. I quickly see why they want you to wear goggles. There’s enough dust on the top of the clamshell to put your eye out. Stereo speaker also not working. Went to do a quick treadmill workout. First treadmill. Not working. Find one that works and finish. Go to put my stuff in the cubbies for a steam post workout. 99% of them are open and stuck in the lock position, making it super easy for a would be thief to just look for the one or two that are locked to break into and steal my iPhone and earbuds. Go to steam room. Door shuts so hard that it’s only matter of time before the glass breaks. Attention to the details will make or break a business. Cmon Crunch. Let’s get it together! It’s a beautiful gym I love going to! EDIT 1/30/23 as much as I appreciate your smug comment(it’s a sauna). Perhaps you can put as much energy into fixing the gym than responding in such a way

First, Andrew, is always so kind. Very knowledgeable. Love Andrew and he gets 5 stars. Personal training is a disaster. Had several miscommunications with a trainer, so I asked to be let out of my contract. I was told I had 2 more sessions before I could get out so the DIRECTOR was going to do my final 2 sessions. I texted her when I got there. She was at home, not the gym. I was forgotten about. Again. Money wasted. Canceled my entire membership after that. All you had to do was let me out of the contract that you were not committed to and I’d still be a member. Telling EVERYONE to avoid Crunch.

I can overlook the lack of collars on bars, the unracked weights that the staff allows to sit out all day, the bad music, the floor coming up, the broken mirrors and classes hogging half the funtional equipment when they arent even utilizing it...but the obnoxious rudeness by the tall hipster bearded guy working the front desk definitely earned this gym a bad rating

I signed up for a membership with Crunch over the summer with my roommate. Over time I went through financial hardship and needed to cancel my membership and personal training I was receiving. It was HORRENDOUS. The second you mention cancelling at all whether you arrive in person to sign or not they will avoid phone calls or immediate confrontation regarding your cancellation. It is absolutely ridiculous.I went in person to cancel my membership and personal training in August and waited god knows how long after signing forms only to be told I would get a call back. It took a one on one with my trainer to get that cancelled and even after multiple phone calls I’m still being charged for my membership because they can’t find the forms I’ve already signed. Absolutely do not recommend to college students that may travel or have fluctuations in their financials because they DO NOT CARE. They’ve clearly shown they don’t care about people and their personal situations. There’s plenty more but this just so happens to be the most recent unbelievable circumstance.

This is an unbiased review based on my 7-day free trail. My time of workout was in the 5am-6am hours. I will mention I have worked out at numerous facilities in my almost 20 years of fitness.First impressions:Upon arrival the first day, I checked in at the front desk. Checking was easy, only a couple of questions, and then he said I was good to go. I had to ask him to point me in the direction of the locker rooms. It would've been nice to have at least been offered a tour, or some basic gym information. When walking back to the locker room, I was impressed with the facility. It was large, with a lot of equipment. I had previously read reviews (and heard stories) of how dirty this gym was... not today! When I got to the bathroom/locker room I did notice that there were only 2 restroom stalls, and only 3 showers (+ 1 handicap shower). This was a concern as the gym does get pretty crowded. The first shower I used had a busted head, so I was only able to get half the water on me. The next day, a different shower I used had a very slow drain, so water began to puddle over my shower shoes and over my feet.Throughout the week:Monday and Tuesday were pretty crowded. There were a lot of people working out, but most of them seemed to know what they were doing. The rest of the week attendance dwindled, and by Friday it was nice. What I did notice is that most people do not rerack their weights. It seems to be the norm for them to just get up and walk away. This leads to confusion when you enter the area and are trying to see what is in use, and what is not. It also makes it hard to find weights for the equipment you are currently using.Hydro-massage/tanningThursday morning I happened to notice an area that I had not noticed before. I asked the staff what it was and was told about the massage and tanning area. Again, Had I been offered a tour to be shown what the gym had to offer, I would've already known about this. Nevertheless, I took advantage of the hydro-massage chairs, and it was relaxing after a workout. All in all, I would say that this is a nice facility with good equipment. But the other aspects do come into play when giving this review.

Tried to cancel my membership over the phone because I could never park to get in there (years ago when they opened) and was refused so I canceled payments to them. Now I'm getting called from debt collectors almost 4 years later about a membership that I never even got a membership card for. When I called to talk to the gym about it, they told me the only way to clear it would be to start another membership lol. I'd rather pay the debt collector.

Folks, this place is a scam. Buyer beware. After you quit, they continue to charge your credit card or debit your account while all along convincing you that they will stop. They never do. This is a college town and they prey on young naive college students. We are in the process of filing complaints with every institution available. We are also filing a law suit against Brad Gilmer, the manager, Crunch and it's unhelpful and disinterested owners Brian Hibbard and John Armatas.
