Crunch Fitness - Tuscaloosa

So I went online to look up about a spray tan and they were running a special for this location and advertising on groupon. I purchased two spray tans off the groupon site and called the store to set up an appointment. When I call a staff member answers and has no idea what i’m talking about and puts me on hold to ask his manager. When he comes back he informs me that they aren’t even set up for groupon but tries to sell me another tanning service. So when i ask how i need to go about getting my money back or how this needs to be handled there’s no solution offered, but more services I could buy. When I ask to speak with the manager whom he had just spoken with so there would be no confusion and i’m placed on hold again and then told the manager cannot take the call. For my first time using groupon, or crunch fitness it was just major red flags and the fact that the manger would not take my call or the employee wouldn’t even try to offer a solution but kept offering another service just screamed red flags. I guess i’m just out of the money at this point, but huge lack of professionalism all the way around. Let’s not offer services we aren’t set up to accept!! Very disappointed!

Crunch in Tuscsloosa has really upped there game. The new team members and staff are really good at wanting to help you reach your goals in health. It’s cleaner, abs well maintained. I have had nothing but positive encounters with the new staff and management, definitely five stars all the way in my book!!!!

Crunch Tuscaloosa has been hands down a great experience!! It is so comforting being in an environment with front desk staff, PTs, and other members who are welcoming and encouraging to get you to teach your goals (at ALL fitness levels). The gym has looked much cleaner and organized. Definitely the best gym to be at and highly recommend others to join the Crunch Fam!!!

I have been a member of Crunch for about 18 months now. I am always greeted with a smile and the professionalism of the staff is top notch. I pay the premium price to be able to attend all classes and they are all well worth the extra money, especially the Zumba classes. Wyndi, Nicole, Maria, Malena, Ginny❤️ They are all amazing instructors that give their all for a solid hour. I am so thankful for these ladies.

Man I don’t even know where to start about this place! Crunch is literally my home away from home! The environment in this place is so uplifting and contagious. The best part of everyday is going to crunch, the countless amount of friendships I have made in this place is unlike any other, 10/10 world recommend this place!

This gym is amazing. From the first time I walked in 2 years ago I’ve never had a bad experience. With the help of PT Ron and the front desk employees I’ve come farther than I ever thought I would. Big Jeremy is the best

Crunch seems like my 2nd home. From the time I walk into the door I am greeted with big smiles with a positive vibe. Crunch has all the equipment I need to train at a high level. The equipment is maintained, cleaned, and in working condition. There has been an upgrade in the training staff as well as how the facility is run. I look forward to my training on a daily basis. Best gym in West Alabama!!

Ron Wedgeworth great coach! He gets a lot done in 30min as far as a workout goes! VERY attentive to your needs and goals! The equipment there I give a 5 star too. Even the dumbells having between 5lb weights like 32.5lb helps to increase in weight mire efficiently.

Everything is great besides the men's sauna. Worst smelling sauna I've ever been in. Plus, I don't think it gets cleaned. The sauna was a big reason I signed up here and I dont want to go in. I attached a picture of the floors. I will delete this comment once this is cleaned and smells better.

Planet fitness is a zillion times better! This place is terrible. No information or help from day one. Trying to cancel bc I’m moving out of town and told I have to come in person or write a letter. When my child. Cried in the care room they sure didn’t hesitate to interrupt my workout to get her.
