Awesome Gym & Friendly Staff … Easily the Biggest Gym in Tuscaloosa… I prefer to go in the early morning or late night… Less traffic but all in all…Great Place!!

The gym was fine when I was in Tuscaloosa, however; I have now been trying to cancel my membership for weeks (Calling everyday). I honestly think they choose not to pick up the phone just so you can’t cancel your membership.

I've only just joined Crunch, but I already know I plan to stick around. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and Katie, who runs the Pound class that kicked my butt, has a zest for life that's absolutely contagious. The facilities are beautiful, and despite a completely full parking lot, the building didn't feel crowded at all.

I joined crunch about a month ago coming from a local gym in Austin, TX. I enjoy the friendly staff, quality of equipment, and cleanliness throughout the gym. What is lacking is a quality safety squat bar and reverse hyper extension machine/implement. When classes are working in the turf area the trainer can get quite loud with the microphone but with good earbuds it’s manageable.

Great facility, excellent amenities, but TERRIBLE location and parking. The only problem I ever had here was that the building is located on the opposite side of the highway from where the vast majority of people come. Meaning you have to cross 3 lanes of heavy traffic to enter. On top of that the parking situation is horrible. During peak hours, people will resort to parking in grass or on the curb. I know this isn't the business's fault, but in the long term it was enough to deter me from wanting to go and I cancelled my membership.

I canceled my membership with Crunch Fitness a few months ago, and they’re still charging my credit card. I will never attend this gym again and highly recommend that you don’t if you’re reading this review. The employees are VERY RUDE and unprofessional and management is never available when you want to resolve an issue. I called and spoke with Destiny and gave her my name and call back number for management to reach back out and never received a call. I called back on today and was rudely told management was busy and couldn’t be reimbursed $29.95. With this pandemic going on I need every last penny that I have and I don’t appreciate this facility collecting funds when I haven’t stepped foot in the gym for months. STOP CHARING MY ACCOUNT! I also filled a dispute with my bank so hopefully the money will be back on my card.

Watch out for this place. Yes they have nice equipment but that’s about all they have going. They use to have great instructors and fun group fitness classes (well before COVID) but they can’t seem to keep good people around. The management is horrible. I canceled my membership and they continued charging me. Management is never around to solve the problem. This place is definitely not what it seems or portrays itself to be. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a quality gym.

I go here every morning. Great facilities. The instructors, especially Stephanie are top notch. The machines are clean. Definitely recommend crunch to anyone serious about their fitness.

The gym seems great. The people seem friendly and helpful. My issue is with the daycare policies. I take my 6 month old and 8 year old daughters. The daycare is perfect for older kids! However, trying to leave babies there is a joke. The rules dont allow them to hold, feed or change the babies. I was told they will put her in a Walker, when she gets tired of that she will go in a bouncer, and when shes tired of that they'll call me to come get her. Today I was called back to pick my daughters up after being there 15 minutes because my baby cried to be picked up. It's not worth a 40 minute drive to work out for 15 minutes. Really disappointing because I love this gym and can't use it because the daycare workers aren't allowed to console my baby. They also wouldnt allow her sister to come talk to her or try to play with her. Made her stay on the other side of the room.

Only giving Crunch a star because no stars is not an option. I've been a member since before the facility even opened in Tuscaloosa. My major complaint is the customer service and tanning. It is clear they care more about getting new members than keeping their current. My fiance and I have been ignored numerous times and waited in lines so long we have just not checked in and left. I have the highest membership and its pointless. I literally just walked out feeling frustrated and disgusted. The staff doesn't clean their tanning beds properly nor do they change the lamps-several are out. There have been at least 20 times I have came to tan and was not allowed because all the beds were dirty and the employee wouldn't clean them. The past few times I attempted to spray tan the machines have been broken or I wasn't given the proper solution. I managed another tanning competitor for almost three years so I know what I'm talking about as I have first hand experience and certification. I have asked to speak to a manager and I have not yet received a call back.
