I started working with Sarah Jones in September 2021 and still can’t believe how much of a transformation I’ve seen. I’ve managed to lose about 20 pounds and have gone from a 32 in jeans to a 28. She has helped me to work on my diet, get set up in a regular workout routine, and taught me exercises that can be done easily at the gym or at home. I travel from Birmingham once a week to work with her and she’s been amazing at working around my schedule and staying late to help. I have never felt so confident or happy with how I look and feel. I never thought I’d be able to make these lifestyle changes and it’s been the best decision I could’ve made by far.

I finally decided to give Crunch a chance this summer, so I signed up using one of their recent promo codes. From a workout and cleanliness perspective, Crunch is pretty average (3 stars).I dropped them to a 1 star after experiencing a nightmare of a process for canceling my membership. They wouldn’t let me cancel over the phone, so I had to go in person. When I finally managed to cancel the membership in person, they tried to charge me an extra $50+ in fees.

This is a state-of-the art facility with a wide variety of equipment and great customer service overall. One of the managers gave me a tour & explained the benefits included in my membership very well. I love having access 24/7 which means being able to select the time that works best for my schedule. I love the body scan option as it helps you see your progress in terms of inches, body fat percentage and overall fitness. I always look forward to my workouts at Crunch. As someone who has been a member of Planet Fitness (both locations) I can wholeheartedly say Crunch is the best option & the best investment you can make.

OK so this gym has some MAJOR issues that it needs to resolve! First by cleaning the bathrooms these are absolutely disgusting as if Noone cleans the which they do not because the handicap bench has been broken since I've been coming here starting 1/2/22 as well as a lump of Hair in the last men's shower. Secondly there is hardly no paper towels ever in the dispensers to wipe down the equipment when people are done using them. Next we go back to the horrible house keeping probably due to all the kids at the desk more worried about chatting with friends and being on their phones rather than working. From the outside it looks nice but some HORRIBLY DISGUSTING on the inside. I know planet fitness doesn't have the equipment that crunch has but at least it's CLEAN! Owners/management, do better! Do better with keeping cleanliness in your establishment. Every other crunch I've been to across the country is very neat and clean. Yours is an embarrassment to other crunches nation wide. As far as machines being in service and in working order they are and that's why the 2 star. Clean your gym and keep it that way!

Has enough quality equipment to manage the workout rush times in the morning and evening without waiting for your turn. Clean facility where people are just there to get their workout in. Some college kids, but not enough to slow down workouts because they are playing on their phone between sets.

This is a really nice and big gym with great equipment. However, when a machine breaks it seems to be down for a month or two before they get it fixed. For example, there are 3 cable machines, 2 have been broken for a month now and I can’t get an answer on when they will be fixed. Better maintenance and this gym would get 5 stars.

A really good gym for any level of working out. Great for beginners, casual lifters, and even the power lifters. Plenty of free weights, squat racks, machines, treadmills, etc. Lots of classes to choose from too. Only drawback is the amount of traffic in the gym. Low prices= lots of members.

I signed up for a free month. I then notice a 50 dollar annual charge. I called to cancel and get a refund. The lady tells me that all new memberships have to pay it. They tricked me. Gave me a free month in December then charged me a 2021 annual fee even though there are 11 months left this year. Why do they charge a full annual year fee for 1 month of membershipCRAZY THING IS, I NEVER WENT AND USED THEIR EQUIPMENT. NOT ONCE.ANY EXEMPLARY BUSINESS WOULD HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT AND REFUNDED ME AT THE LEAST A PRORATION OF THAT CHARGE.I definitely will not be giving this gym a second attempt. I have like 5 friends who all been talking about working out together. Guess we starting Planet Fitness in March to get out summer bods.

I signed up for a gym membership several months ago and was pressured into signing up for a personal trainer for 90 days. A few months later my trainer quit and they put me with a new guy (that I never signed a contract with). After my 90 days were over they continued to charge my card. I called up there over and over in an attempt to find out what I needed to do to stop these charges. Every time I called I was given the run around and told the person I needed to speak with wasn’t there and they would have someone call me back. Yet, no one would ever call me back! I finally got fed up and called the front desk again and demanded to speak to someone (anyone) immediately with some authority there. Again, I was told they weren’t available and no one would speak to me. Finally a manager calls me back a few hours later. He told me he would stop the charges and that he would have someone from corporate contact me about refunding the last charge on my card. Of course no one from corporate ever called me!This company is sneaky and greedy and their customer service is dreadful. They charge cards without consent, pressure you into contracts that they purposely don’t explain well, and then hold you to the fire. At any point if you need to cancel your membership for any reason they will intentionally ignore you and avoid you while they continue to charge you. I will not be back. I plan to report them to the BBB.
