0 stars! Horrible customer service. I signed up online and decided to cancel because I never had time for the gym, instead of honoring my cancellation I was told I had to cancel by phone which I did, months later I received random charges on my card, I called and then was told by a MANAGER I had to come in to cancel during a pandemic and was told that I could not receive a refund for all the unexplained charges although I cancelled my subscription months before and obviously received the WRONG information by another employee. Looking back at my bank statements I saw this place had been randomly charging me for something I cancelled a long time ago. They did not show any compassion or concern, they just told me I couldn't have my money back, the terms and conditions online are very confusing and shady just to get you to sign up. At first I was told I didn't sign up for a membership but a subscription what ever the difference is. These people will continue to steal money out of your bank account if you do not go over the contract carefully and will not take responsibility for their shadiness. Even if I wanted to keep my membership and try them out I wont now based on their customer service. They will obviously do anything for a buck! I do not recommend this place based on how they treat their customers. Beware of companies like this looking to take advantage of people.

Just started going here and I have to say it’s nice. Little busy during peak hours, so you can’t be excessively ridged with your workout if you don’t want to stand and wait, but it’s not so bad that you can’t get your workout done!The staff has all been very helpful with me, the machines are clean, and the equipment all seems to be in good condition. I really feel comfortable here and haven’t received any negative attention, even when I have been tugging knobs attempting to adjust seats and looking helpless.I haven’t worked out in about 3 years, and I feel a bit lost, but the vibe and accessibility of PF Waukegan is really turning things around for me :).

This gym is nice. The staff are friendly and always acknowledge when you come in and leave. The place is clean and bright. When there is broken equipment it is handled quickly, never have I gone back the next visit and a piece if equipment still be broken. The women's locker room is clean, although some of the lockers cannot be locked, must can. Overall, for the price your getting a great gym, great people, and great facility.

I have been a member since planet fitness opened. They have rules about cell phones on the floor. People ignore them. They sit on the machines on their phones like a bunch of zombies. I personally go to better myself. It's a pick up joint for some. I just wish these greasy gross men would realize that it is not wanted or needed. ItsI a great place to work out if you like waiting for machines while someone's on the phone. Even better place to find that greasy boyfriend youvey always wanted. Step it up planet fitness!

I have been coming to this gym for a few years. But it is very difficult to see that a member has to wait(myself and others I have seen and know) for hydro bed when employees are on there for over 10 minutes time. As a member I only get 10 minutes...hmm double standard. I feel management should address this issue. Update. So I finally get to use hydro bed after Jessica gets done. She asked me "Do you want me to clean it before you use it?" " I wasnt sweaty or anything, didn't workout prior to using it" 🤔 Staff doesn't care if things are sanitized? Staff privilege.. Very disappointed

This gym got me back into my workout routine. It really is a judgement free zone. I feel comfortable working out here and the membership is cheap seeing as I can work out and tan. I like to do a combination of weight lifting and cardio and Planet Fitness has everything I need. It gets crowded but not to the point where you can't get in a good workout. The tanning beds are pretty good quality for a $20 a month membership.My only complaint is that many times the bathrooms are dirty and the trash cans in the gym are full, paper towels running low and I look over to see 3 front desk staff hunched over the desk on their cellphones. You don't make it easy to wipe a machine down when you have to stuff your hand in a dirty garbage can of sweat paper towels just to get your used towels to stay in. The guys that work at the gym and the girl with the bright red hair are friendly and personable but I think the other ladies should work on being a little nicer and more interested in their jobs. A lot of people that go to Planet Fitness are first timers when it comes to the gym and I bet they would feel a lot better if people actually greeted them or smiled during their interactions.

🤠As far as first impressions? I would have to say zero stars. They want to link to your bank account! Not a good idea.👍✔️Planet fitness has won me over. They let you join for 18 months and I was able to pay it on a credit card. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the trainers are top-notch. Facility is clean and functioning at a high level.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I wasn't aware that I could only have one single coin to use the message chairs. That's what I was told yesterday morning at 9:00 am at the front desk. It made me changed my membership to the $10.00 a month membership right on the spot. Not the associate's fault, she was very sweet and very professionally she mentioned that she was instructed by her manager to do so. Also, the hours of operation are not true. This gym opens 24 hrs from Tuesday to Thursday, the gym closes Friday at 9 pm., Saturday at 7 pm, Sunday at 7 pm and Monday opens at 5 am.

This gym is clean, organized & offers a quick intro to your personalized workout plan. I go because it's across the street from where I live, the price is right & the benefits are many. I give 4 stars because I asked one worker a question & he acted like I was bothering him. I'll just ask the ones willing to help with friendly, smiling faces.

It’s now 2:06 am went to the gym at 12 I came in ready to do my work out till one of the members told me that the Hispanic guy in the front was saying I was stocking the women that work there. Am going to confront that guy next time I see him because this is some bull and am not going to let some idiot talk trash about me. Dude don’t do anything he just sits there I was going to confront him but was too heated. Smh planet. Bet he don’t lift
