Love the gym, love the hours, staff is great, best part is/was KIDCARE! Without that maybe 3 stars.. Kidcare was the selling point for me several years ago. I’d love to have it open again To have a better workout without rushing back to get babies from a sitter! I know they’re in great hands, right there with me! Kidcare staff was amazing! I need that back in my life, time to reopen!😃💪🏼👶🏽

I came in with my daughter to sign up. The main reason we chose this location was because it's less than a mile from our home. The gentleman asked what our main focus was we told him tanning but we like to work out after. To make a long story short. He never bothered to inform us this location did not offer Tanning until we signed up and ask where the tanning area was located.He then told us we would have to go to a Vasa 20 mins from our home to tan. Needless to say I was mad. I told him never mind cancel our memberships and we walked out. He didn't cancel them. When I received multiple emails regarding the gym passes I emailed in again to cancel the memberships and told them do not charge my card again.I received a confirmation email that the memberships were cancelled (no where in that email did it state they would be charging a cancellation fee) they charged my card 48$ 2 weeks later said it was their cancellation fee plus that months gym fees. So all in all they walked away with 115$ (and they tried charging me an additional 150$ for my daughter and husband's gym passes) for a service we never once used and told them to cancel before we even walked out the door. They mislead you into a contract then charge you for services never rendered. If that's not fraud I don't know what is. Then when I confronted them about they said as a one time courtesy they won't charge my husband and daughter. NO A COURTESY IS CANCELLING WHEN YOUR TOLD AND NOT STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE!!***Read the other reviews before signing up! I'm not the only one they have done this to that should tell you something!***

I have been in 4 VASA fitness centers in Utah. And I have the luxury of going between 9 am and Noon. I like this one the best. I like the staff, the amount of and layout of equipment. And most of the equipment is functioning. Everyone seems respectful of space.

The gym is alright, but Sheri at the front desk makes it 10x better. She is always welcoming and is very kind to members as they enter and exit the gym. We need more people with customer service skills like her!

This will be a new review of this gym. I followed there cancellation process and paid a extra month/ last month. They continued to charge me. I then called to comfirm i cancellation and that i should not be charged... then off and on they continued to charge through auto pay till i got my bank to block them. Now they have stained my credit on all false claim of delinquent payments....

The gym it’s self isn’t so bad I actually enjoyed it but sometimes there was a front desk girl that I don’t think worked the morning shift but was sometimes there and maybe don’t put morning people in early morning shifts because her face said it all. But I’m not upset about that I’m really more upset at how customer service is like why is it even called customer service? They refused to refund me any money to my account I basically paid for another year price lock when the member ship isn’t being used there are other companies that are willing to help specially during holidays but VASA YOU ARE THE WORST AND all they do is take your money that’s all they care about

My wife and I have attended Vasa in Tooele and Bountiful in the last couple of years and they were great! Lots of space, newer cleaner equipment, and good staff. We visit the gym 6 days a week. When we moved to West Jordan we chose a smaller gym to avoid the crowds. Our gym is closing so we signed up for Vasa again... What a night and day difference from the other gyms we have enjoyed. Outdated and damaged equipment, lack of incline benches, lack of accessories, dumbbells falling apart, plates falling apart, nothing racked, everything was dirty and disorganized, no sanitizing stations, benches missing barbells, racks with no weights hung on them, etc. I just don't think we will find the gym enjoyment we are used to until this gym is UPDATED and MAINTAINED to a much higher standard.Dear VASA, Please invest in the great location before we have to move on. Thank you.

The West Jordan location has been slowly decaying their reputation. This location use to be knows as one of the cleanest, now most would disagree. Over time the cleanliness of this location has been a joke. Paper towels are usually always empty or jammed. There are benches in the pool area covered in blood stains, which I brought up two months ago but still has yet to be cleaned. I could only imagine the biohazards we cannot see. No equipment upgrades will hide the fact that there are no individuals in the West Jordan facility that cares about their buildings image, period.I really hope the owner/manager of this building reads this comment and reali

I've been a member here for years. Very good place and good value.I also want to "correct" a couple reviews I just read.Ridiculous Complaints by some:1. Some people are upset because a "dress code" isn't enforced? Huh? If im paying to use the place, I should be able to wear what I like...provided it doesn't reek or leave dirt everywhere...still...like...this seems like a crazy complaint by germaphobes. I have not seen anything beyond the pale since i've been coming...so I have no idea what this is about.2. Reports of broken, dirty equipment everywhere? Umm...huh? This is another nutty complaint. Go in anytime and see for yourself...everything is new and clean.Real complaints:1. Im NOT a fan of they semi annual "membership fee" that somehow locks in your membership rate. Its such an oddball fee and its hit me several times when I don't expect it. I've had checks bounce because of it. perhaps they should send out an email a month prior and be like, "gird your loins! The SUPER BILL is coming next month!" That bill is like 4-5 times the normal monthly bill. To me its ridiculous. I know of no other gym that does this. Its the biggest reason i've considered leaving. You also could just raise the monthly rate to smooth out the annual charges. Or give members an option: Wanna pay a normal monthly rate, or a low monthly rate with a sneaky mega bill tacked on 1-2 times a year? I KNOW i've been hit by this 2x in a year..im not sure if they are down to 1 time a year or 2 anymore.2. They close early on Sunday...like EARLY. 4pm. Yes, they open at 7am...so thats ok...ish. but then they ALSO close early on Saturday too! Defiantly not a weekend gym if you wanted to do stuff during your weekend AND get a workout in afterwards. Call me spoiled, but Im more used to 24 hr open gyms. Golds used to be that way...back in the day. I've gotten a wild hare and wanted to go lift at 1am, or swim some laps to clear my head...not at this gym. :/ Its very close to my house tho...so I don't think im going to leave Vasa until I move.
