The gym itself is ok the staff are pretty good , but whoever is in vasa corporate running their payment system is absolute incompetent I don’t understand why if I make my payment on the day I’m required to I still get hit with the 20 dollar fee . Apparently it’s because they tried to pull money out at 4 am on my card , but in my eyes if it’s gets paid the day of why do I have to pay that late fee ? Might just try somewhere else

The layout of this gym is great. However, like all SL Valley gyms, there are many broken machines, and the bathrooms and showers are filthy. What happened to "Covid" style cleaning? Plus, I have been a "VIP" member since 2012, and now that they have scanners on the massage chair, I can't use them? Even though I pay for them, my code doesn't work. No staff member knows why, nor knows how to help me fix it. I am wondering why they have front-end staff, especially at the Taylorsville center. I love working out at Vasa, but if it wasn't for the classes, I would switch to Planet Fitness. Their gym is beautiful and clean. Just no group classes.Update: still no resolution on my "VIP" access. 06/21/2023. Just that it's an IT problem. . .

It's a great gym if you're just looking for workout equipment. They have many weight lifting and cardio machines which are always available when I go from 4 to 5:30 am. I wouldn't pay for more than a basic membership after reading about the locker rooms, bathrooms, and sauna. I've never been in those rooms, but it doesn't sound like they're kept very clean. Also, I wish someone else would be in charge of the music. Listening to "It's Getting Hot in Here" isn't my favorite way to start the day 🤣

The STUDIO RED classes are so amazing. I have never gone to a gym and felt this comfortable and the personal trainers make it fun.Update: I am changing this review. Vasa is nothing but a money hungry scam. I physically blew out my knee and am needing surgery. They do not have a medical cancelation clause. I will still pay $100/month until the end of my 6 months. They have 0 customer service when talking to them. For someone who was afraid of the gym to begin with, this just solidifies my distrust and anxiety in places like that!!

Great gym and great equipment. West Jordan, UT has lots of lifting pads and squat racks, I wish every vasa was well stocked with pads and squat racks. I think it is always a great workout overall!The only thing is the steam room. They are often quite dirty, people coming in and out with their shoes on. The floor is quite dirty, muddy almost. And the smell, it smells like a steaming gunky drain. They need a “no shoes in the steam room” policy, and make sure the rooms and drains are bleached and cleaned properly.

Was kinda disappointed today! I have a membership with the visitor pass, myself and my visitors came to enjoy the hot tub! I had an extra guest and the guy wanted to charge 15$ when they were closing in less than an hour! Could he have offered a free tour day? After paying my membership for years I felt so bad they couldn't help us out for that hour 😔

Great facilities, helpful staff, good prices. Though, i wish staff would keep an eye on all the wannabe influencers hoarding equipment and space and filming others

The steam room needs attention with cleaning it smells really bad and same with the locker rooms i recommend reporting this to the front desk it smells horrible in there please get to cleaning in there now

I just started my membership, and I'm already very pleased with Vasa Gym.I'm looking forward to a long-term relationship.

Older gym(West Jordan) Went here after trialing a few in town simply due to it being less crowded and larger. Downfalls: one sauna for both genders, locker rooms are border line gross and need to be remodeled or majorly cleaned up.
