The Edge Fitness Clubs

I have never been to a more busy gym ever, and the members grows by the day. Never any machines or racks available. Pay top amount for the womens area only for the door to always be broken and it to be accessible to everyone in the gym. Locked into a contract and employees are not helpful either. Horrible in my opinion.

If you are a midnight person, this is not the gym for you. They cannot keep to a consistent overnight schedule. No emails sent when their overnight hours change, no text notifications. Would not recommend for anyone looking to get that night gym workout in.

Advertises 24 Hours but opens and closes whenever they please because they can’t keep employees. Closes without notice at any given time and that’s your problem. Can’t cancel membership because you’re under contract. Only signed up because it was 24 hours meaning I had the freedom to come at any time but it’s not true because you better come at a time their employees feel like working. If you can’t keep employees maybe you should take a look into your management.

THE MOST AMAZING STAFF!!! I love Kayla and James! All the staff is so positive and I’ve never felt judged at all coming to this gym. I’ve been coming for about a year and every time I come in everyone greets with such a warm smile and amazing vibe!

I don’t understand why they close the gym at 9 pm on Fridays. I also don’t like how dirty the tanning beds are. I went in there to tan and almost threw up from how dirty the bed were. I ran out of there. Somebody really needs to clean the tanning rooms. Nobody who tans seems to clean up after themselves.

I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled because The Edge fitness club of Westland is the best! It has all fitness equipment one could need, the most knowledgeable trainers, and great perks like the Edge kids. My wife and I like to work out in the evening, and The Edge kids does a great job of keeping our 3 year old engaged in physical activity!

Do Not Sign Anything! Cancellation of your membership is nearly impossible! I was forced to submit medical documents, and each time was denied cancellation. Absolutely abhorrent business practices. And they slide a 3rd year into your 2 year membership, very unethical business practices.The gym itself and the staff are very nice, but after what I went through I canning recommend joining this gym.

Emily Calleja is by far the best trainer! She is very motivating, positive and knowledgeable in what she does. Not only is she a great trainer but she is also great for your mental health and has helped me to change the negative self talk. I have referred my husband and best friend to her because she’s that good. Everyone should have an Emily in their lives!

Plenty of parking. Was greeted by a happy employee at the front desk. We had made an appointment with a trainer, Tarif, who was ready for it. He was personable and knowledgeable. Showed us what we need to work on to start with. Also sat down with Ronnie who explained the membership and "The Challenge". He spent enough time with us to make sure we were understanding the benefits of the club. The manager made sure to come out to meet us. Extremely clean and plenty of exercise equipment in perfect condition. It was a beautiful place. Has a smoothie bar that makes yummy healthy drinks.

READ THE MEMBER AGREEMENT.This facility has the BEST staff and the BEST management of any gym I’ve ever been to. Not to mention the top of the line facility and equipment.So far, the only complaint that I can see is about the cancellation policy… just read the contract, and follow the rules. Simple.
