Great gym but if you have to cancel because you moved over an hour away you’ll be shocked by the charges! $660! They also demand you send them some very personal documents. The call center your transferred to to try and resolve is even more fun….

Very poor company they use a third party billing company called ABC make impossible to cancel. I tried to cancel before my card was to be charged ABC does not work on weekends and staff at Edge are no help I had read policy when signing did not see anything about 30 day notice or mentioned by poorly trained sales people l I've been out of contract for a while you think you can cancel whenever. I had stopped going or never really went decided to use Planet Fitness with dad who was dying of cancer at the time and never went back to edge had been paying them for free for months and $30 shouldn't be a problem to refund some when the billers can't do anything on the days you call. If your smart stay clear of this place or read all the low star reviews and all will point towards bad billing also wanted headquarters phone apparently they don't have a phone because they would not give me a number only email which is suspicious and odd for a company not have phone number.

Edge gym Westland is the best gym I’ve ever been to! The staff is so nice and welcoming. My trainer Emily is amazing and so motivating. She packs in so much work in a half hour work out. I also love the edge strong classes especially with Emily or Marc, but ever trainer there is great!

Please do not join Edge fitness. They charge excessively and make it hard to get out of your contract. And they tell you not to be on your cell phone. And they limited time to be at the gym. Some closed early and will little notice. Please read the contract thoroughly before you join. It's more of a business agreement than you just wanting to get healthy. Not to mention the workers forget your appointment.

I do like the cleanliness of the facility and the staff seems pretty nice however when it comes to billing its subpar at best. I called to cancel my wife's membership due to the fact she would not be able to use the facility with a newborn at home. We called 30 days in advance and they still billed me for another month. Then they had an issue running my credit card for my membership and decided to charge me a late fee which makes no sense. Therefore I decided to cancel my membership as well. I can't in good faith do business with these types of practices.

By far the best gym in the area! Membership prices are good, the equipment works perfectly, and it remains clean at all times. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the nicest staff. I’ve been going here since they opened and more than likely will not switch gyms.

I went in for a tour, because I was interested in switching gyms. One of the staff workers asked another staff worker, if she could give me a tour. I overheard her say to him, that she has been giving tours all day. Needless to say, that she didn’t give the tour, the other employee that asked her to, ended up doing it. I didn’t say anything, I allowed him to give the tour. However, I will remember how I was treated. Not a place that I’m looking to go workout. I’ll stay with my current gym…

Love, love, love The Edge!! It is always clean and the staff is top-shelf!!THE BEST GYM EVER!!The equipment is state of the art and you can go to the movies, while you workout. . . don't forget to grab a delicious shake on your way out after your workout. Yup, they have thought of everything!!

In short, THE best gym in the area, period. Has the largest amount of space, some of the best equipment, and the friendliest staff around.Detailed: There are cleaners in here constantly, going around making sure that things are as tidy as possible. Things break, but are repaired in a timely enough manner and there’s usually duplicates of whatever is down so your workout will go uninterrupted. The sales team were thorough with explaining the contract I was entering and when payments would be processed (pay attention to when they are going over the contract so you aren’t complaining about it later on a google review). The gym gets busy just like any other popular franchise would, but luckily The Edge is at least spacious enough to where it doesn’t feel like you’re on top of everyone when you’re trying to workout. I could write a whole novel on how much I love the staff that works here so I’ll just leave it at that.10/10 would gym again

Overall great. Very clean, pretty decent selection of weights and good quality equipment (could use a bit of maintenance). Layout is ok; weight section is just a bit cramped especially considering there seem to be quite a few serious lifters going to this gym (even at 7am) but that's subjective.I'm not a member but they were nice enough to let me have a free workout since I can't take advantage of their 7day free pass as I don't live in the area. I do suspect their membership rates might be on the higher end and I know the monthly membership is on an annual contract which I'm generally not a fan of.I'm also not a fan of their movie theater cardio section but it goes well with their branding and marketing stretegy which is on the aggressive (successful) side.Thanks for the free workout!
