On their website, the facility looks adequate and they have many class offerings. When calling to find out about membership pricing (which is not listed on their website), the receptionist said he could not help with that and I had to leave a message. Upon receiving a return call, the salesperson said I had to come in for a tour to receive pricing. I told her that I've reviewed the website, their class offerings, and equipment, and just wanted to know the membership cost. She reluctantly said it is $109.00 per month for a 3 month commitment and $99.00 per month for a 12 month commitment. I think that is a totally reasonable price for their services, and told her I would stop by. She said that I could not stop by, that it is by appointment only to join. Heads up this is the process and current pricing (7/14/2023) if you're looking to join.

Best gym in Albuquerque! Always so clean and friendly staff.

It's a nice sized gym. The pool is overall really nice. The reason for the four stars is that there is a ton of outdated and beat up treadmills, and they removed creature comforts like towels in the locker room.

This gym is the worst gym in the state of New Mexico. I would recommend any other gym!

Having lived here nearly 40 years & being a previous member, this evening I took my wife (she’s only lived here a year) in to this location so she could see the place & we could discuss becoming a member once again. We were greeted by Aiden, a fine young man wearing a tie, who was most informative & respectful. Aiden instructed us we’d have to wait for a sales associate. The female, I’m assuming Sale Associate, immediately informed us to tour the place we’d have to fill out and sign an accident waiver in case something happened. We agreed to fill out the waiver & the wife & I were given tablets. It wasn’t until shortly after opening up the consent agreement to a rather lengthy disclaimer that we realized the entire process was about gathering more information necessary (Phone #, email address, etc…) for anyone to simply physically preview the facility. At this point, I addressed the young lady & told her I didn’t feel the amount of information they were asking for was a necessity for us to simply tour the place. She stated it was absolutely necessary. I stated okay, we’d see about joining Defined Fitness. At which time we were told have a good evening a few times.

Decent swimming pool and sauna and the exercise equipment is okay but is very old. The bathroom is not the cleanest. The worst part is the staff who are EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and impatient. The manager was especially rude and inconsiderate. They don't seem to take their job seriously.

If I could give a one start I would. The staff is extremely disrespectful. What kind of a gym doesn’t allow day passes to try out? Really worthless and I’m canceling my membership in behalf of the front desk who turned us away

I love Sports and Wellness! It is huge! They have excellent accomodations! Swimming pool, basketball courts, spin classes, studio classes that are awesome! Membership gets you access to 5 clubs here in Albuquerque and a few more in Colorado. The staff is friendly and courteous and they throw awesome parties!

Uncomfortable locker room experience led us to cancel. Unfortunately you have to pay off your full 12 month contract, so for one bad visit we are out 2,146.44. Corporate office does not answer phone. Location is unable to resolve or permit early cancellations. Most expensive single visit to a gym in history.
