If you’re a single parent on a budget don’t go here! I was trying to loose weight was met with rude employees. My kid was sick so I couldn’t go in. I was charged double without any notice. I can’t afford pay the extra I signed for a locked rate for a year it’s been less than 5 months since I started. I’m a single mom and the person I spoke to said go get a husband! What the hell I'm not single by choice?!? I asked about child care and got laughed at! The most disrespectful people and managers are worse! Don’t go here if you want friendly service.

Good luck canceling membership, rep lied to me and said I could simply put account on hold without any problems and cancel later. When I tried to, the manager was very rude and dismissive and said I owed for additional 2 months (this was after the contract terms). When they threatened collections I called corporate customer svcs, women on phone actually laughed at me. I will NEVER pay them or return there.

I have been a loyal member of sports and wellness for 3 years. I called today to ask about some group fitness classes that had a dollar sign next to them on the website. I was thinking that these were paid classes and maybe ranged from a couple dollars to 10$ Max. When I spoke to the receptionist she informed me that the website was not up to date, the class did not exist on the date and time noted and that the class, when it is available is 20$ to $35 per class. I clarified with her that this is the rate for members of the club. She said yes but was not sure so she sent me to a voicemail. After paying almost $100 a month for the club I am beyond livid that they would have the audacity to charge its members for group classes let alone 20$ to $35 for an hour long class.

I love this GYM! The Environment is great and theres a lack of ]how do I put his nicely] The general population of Albuq. That old saying you pay for what you get is very true. Be smart and avoid the contract and just pay month to month so you dont have problems like other people do here. The only thing I dont like about this gym is the dumbells on the right side of the gym STINK! Im not sure if its the rubber used to manufacture them or what but they wreak lol. The gym population as far as fitness levels is very mixed which probably makes it a more comfortable gym if you are new to the gym scene.

I have been a member of this club for 18 years. Each year they send me a letter telling me that the dues are increasing. THATS EVERY YEAR. Was paying 152 per month this past year but come January 1st looks like its going up again. lets see 152.00 per month that's 1,824.00 per year over 18 years for a total of $32,832. Maybe its time to offer a price hold or even a discount for loyal members. I predict a large fitness chain will enter the Albuquerque market (maybe 24 hour fitness) in the next 5 years. Albuquerque is ready for another option.

Overpriced... No deals for day passes... 15 to 25$ is absurd. Being the only indoor basketball court offered in the area makes it seem they are capatilizing.... On a basketball court?! Come on! Charging members for hr long classes is also absurd. I will never become a member even after my dad was for 10 years. Nope.

Worst Sports and Wellness in town the Manager is very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this location at all. I have had a wonderful experience at High Point and Riverpoint. She yelled at me and my kids in the locker room in front of everyone because I simply did not know the policy of no kids in the women's locker room. Not the way I want to start my membership. Definitely going to look at other gyms because of how poorly my children and I were treated. My daughter got to the car and started crying and said "why was she yelling at you mommy I never want to come here again." I understand rules and policies however embarrassing a new member and over talking and yelling in front of everyone is HORRIBLE customer service. We have referred so many families and will definitely tell all our friends about this awful experience we had with the Manager.

My four year old has never been in day care. He loves the daycare at this Sports and Wellness! The ladies there do such a great job! He cries when we have to leave. The indoor and outdoor pool is so nice too, and well maintained! My children love this gym and so do my husband and I!

Great clubs, great instructors, great trainers and good facilities. The desk staff has always been courteous and respectful. But I cannot say anything good about the new fitness and class coordinators. Just a few weeks before Christmas they terminated two of the finest trainers and class instrucors the club ever had: PCM and LP. These ladies were truly club advocates, were very professional and treated their clients and students with compassion. I do not know what their “infractions” were but management could have discussed it with them, point out the infractions and give them a time period to correct them. Instead, they were fired just weeks before Christmas—tacky, tacky, behavior on the part of certain coordinators. My advice to gym members: do not become too reliant on your trainers and class instructors because one day will be there and be gone the next.
