This place is pricey, but the amenities and opportunities are impressive. It is possible to get your money's worth if you take advantage of the offerings beyond just the gym floor, such as well equipped and very clean locker room, pool, classes in yoga, stretching, cycling, etc. The hours are flexible enough for me and I like the friendly atmosphere and the fact that all ages can be seen working on improving fitness!I do find the personal training very expensive. I also feel that some of the equipment is getting dated, and while every effort is made to keep things in good repair, I would like to know when/how they replace things. One basic thing in definite need of replacement, are many of the floor mats. Some of those things are in shreds!Since writing this review, the center has gone through a complete renovation. All equipment is updated/new. Class options are enhanced, and training options revamped. Enjoy. 3/29/2018

This is a great place to work out, relax and unwind. There is a great balance between available equipment and amount of people, which is the state of the art, and so you always find free equipment when you need it. The facilities are great too. It has saunas, a huge hot tab, large showers and all the fresh towels you can use. The staff is very professional, kind, always ready to help and very knowledgeable. It is a bit pricey compared to the average gyms, but this is no average gym and you have to pay for quality.

Associated with the hospital, but you can join on your own. For those under Dr.'s care, they have a variety of rehab programs. For anyone else, it's a large, well equipped facility with every kind of machine and apparatus, free weights, a great competition-size pool and a decent 1/8th mile indoor track.

NCH Wellness Center is offering the MedFit program for 60 days for $60.It is refundable upon completion or the program.I have been using the program for the last 5 days. It is enjoyable and highly regarded by the participants I have spoken to.I finished the original MedFit program and had my fee reimbursed.I was able to use the facilities 39 times in 60 days. I spent about 4 hours per session and used a variety of equipment.A lot of hard work. Worth it.Afterwards I joined the wellness center and continue to use the facility in lieu of having to get a prescription for physical therapy.

This gym could be extraordinary, if it weren't for the trainers. "Matt" literally scolded my wife and I for using one of the three pieces of equipment he was training someone on. It would be helpful to a lot of members if you posted the trainers hours so as to avoid them. My wife and I are retirees and frankly don't want to deal with this kind of nonsense.

I'd have to say this place is pretty sub-par for the money. Many times the equipment is out of order/broken and they take an extremely long time to get things fixed. Some equipment they have removed and not replaced, and there isn't enough variety in the types of equipment in the weight room. The management and other personnel are impersonal and treat you as if you're just a number....not very welcoming or friendly at all. The personal trainers work their way around the gym like they own the place and give you the impression that you should get out of their way while they work with their clients. One time I had a PT walk directly between me and the cable machine I was using...I couldn't believe it. Not only was it rude, but if I had lost my grip on the cable he would have felt it in a very unpleasant way. I would have to agree with another poster's comment that the management in this place is incompetent. I would stay away from this place.

The wellness center is awesome, best part of my day when I visit.

The hours are too short, they don't let you use kettle bells (according to them they're unsafe) and they're more concerned about drumming up business for personal trainers then letting people just workout. I enjoyed being a member at Lifetime Fitness and XSport better.

Unfortunately the management of the club is incompetent. They view both employees (which I was for over 15 years) and members as completely expendable. They refuse to listen to the staff and members' feedback and opinions, especially when it comes to matters of fees or pay. They want to charge premium fees for classes, yet won't compensate the employees for the training programs that they require in order to charge the premium fees. My recommendation is to stay away. There are other places that will welcome you and not just your money.
